There's no place for weapons in Eververse. Bungie's current system is excellent. You can obtain everything free if you grind it.

Bungie's current system is excellent Its interesting how easily "XP throttling" and other BS this company pulled during Y1 is forgotten and forgiven. OP has a point, Because of Eververse we can never be sure that Bungievision will not incorporate schemes in the near future, to please Activisions Greediness. In D1 I preordered everything, Bungie had my Trust that they would better the game. After D2 they have lost that, and even a near perfect Expansion wont bring that back. I will never ever preorder sth again from them.

  • Got every single exotic from every season free. Much better than other games locking every single thing behind an actual paywall

  • Totally relevant. I get tons of kick ass ornaments simply for playing the game. Eververse has been a non issue and a rewarding addition to the game since February. Anyone still crying needs to bark up another tree

  • Yeah lets play the game all day long, and still hate the company providing the fun. Good attitude.

Ok, explain to me how "being critically" equates to "hating"? The Quality tracjectory this game had in the past: D1 - Vanilla := mediocre D1 - Expansions := improving D2 - Vanilla := mediocre D2 - Osiris/Warmind := bad D2 - Guardians (Korean Version) := alarming D2 - Forsaken := good The only constant in all this: Microstransactions are constatnly becoming a bigger Part of the Gameplay so imo, no reason to get overexcited, as soon as the Korean Version will become a template of D3, I´m out ;-) No hard feelings

  • I guess you've never seen Korean version because we are not even close to that. We are lucky we can get everything for free. We don't even have to pay a cent. Get some items breakdown to get dust. Use the dust to buy the item you want when it become available. It's no different than the dawning event. Everything was obtainable for free(all armor you can buy with dust). Sure you do have to put some effort into getting it but in the end it was the players choice if it was worth it.

  • I got my info from here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/47064 Its an official article so I guess its mostly true. In the article it is not said how you get access to a Game room and how exactly you "buy" your access. I assume its on an hourly basis? Would be nice if you copuld clear that up if you are Korean. Best regards

  • Wow, I wonder why people even playing it if you can put it all logically like this. Great effort man, still when I am doing the Leviathan Raid with my pals, or running around doing EP, or do the ascendant challenges I have that all the time on the back of my head. I only meet people in the forums being all "critical", and trying to find mistakes in the smallest details. I remember starting up forsaken, and didnt felt burned by the purchase, even playing through curse of osiris wasn't a bad choice. Getting all the lost prophecy wasn't needed still did it. What is te problem now? So people had no fun with D1? And kept playing it, and then they were burned by D2, and kept playing it, and now Forsaken came out which was an awesome DLC, people kept playing it, and people still complaining about the game. Seems logical to me. I keep on playing what I dont like. And then I go to the forums and complain more, and then I do a Raid in the afternoon with my friends, and we all critically dismantle the game and have no fun!

  • Pretty much he's trying to compared Korean version of Destiny to our version. Items in the Korean version is behind a pay wall. You can litterly buy your weapons and armor at a cost. Korean version is Pay to Win model.

thats the point , the grind was designed to encourage people buying by making the grind unnecessarily tedious and annoying , the game would be much better if eververse wasnt added, even the sneaky addition way after launch (of D1) is a disgrace , people thought they buying a game without this gambling rip off mechanic and got bait and swicthed

  • Initially people got pissy because they made exotic emotes, ships, sparrows and ghosts and put them in Eververse. If those same items had been Legendary versus Exotic, it wouldn't have caused near the uproar. They did fix the system. You can get most items just playing. Grind only if you want them all. Cosmetics won't break the game. Weapons in microtransactions open the pay to win can o' worms - which would kill the franchise. There are more adult gamers these days, and pay to win isn't going to fly.
