Aside from being the smallest map, and basically a giant donut.... the biggest pain is WALKING from 1 side of the map to the parts of the map that actually have something.
Whether it's the lost sector, heroic adventure (why can't this be by the Lighthouse portal?) or patrols, the map would be tolerable with a sparrow.
C'mon Bungie, you can get the sun to not melt our asses on Mercury through Traveler hocus pocus... they can at least allow us a sparrow

No, it would still be crap, with sparrows. Better to open up the “infinite” forest and shoot Brother Vance into the sun.
-
theyve said before the rrason therrs no sparrow on mercury is because it caused a crash they failed to fix before the expansion came out. Going back to it and fixing it is a waste of time in my opinion
-
2 RespuestasNo, it's the worst area in the game, I won't run any of the bounties there....
-
6 RespuestasI jus wish they'd remove flashpoint from mercury
-
Yes it would. Fact remains that like 60% of the play space on mercury is locked behind that damn forest, if all that was opened up and the forest wasn't such a huge hyped up let down it wouldn't be "as bad", more lost sectors, more public events...just more. But the dust bowl is just a huge disappointment and we can just let the vex/cabal have it and drive it into the sun for good.
-
Mercury could use another public event and two additional lost sectors.
-
It would still be shit, just it'd be shit alot quicker
-
Never buy dlc
-
Needs more public event and sparrow
-
1 RespuestaAll they need to do is place the spawn point outside The Infinite Forest and you wouldn't need your sparrow.
-
Yes it would. What it needs is a different public event and more available patrols.

2 RespuestasDidn't they say awhile back that they were looking into adding sparrow access to Mercury? I always thought it was odd that they coded the area for a sparrow for that one mission but decided to make it inaccessible everywhere else on the planet. It's like if they gave the dreadnaught sparrow access, by only for regicide
-
Mercury will always be shit.

17 RespuestasEditado por Cabababall: 11/22/2018 7:41:20 PMWell, it wouldn’t make sense to be able to drive a Sparrow on a planet near a star more than 27 million degrees Fahrenheit. Because, you know... incineration. But I agree. I hate walking, especially on Mercury.
Yes, I searched that up.
-
I used to think the same but then remembered running around the Dreadnaught and wrote the idea off afterwards.
-
I'd be ok with no sparrow if the grind for the weapon materials there wasn't so harsh. By far the weakest dlc to date with the worst and most tedious grind to complete the tablet things.
-
It could do with another lost sector as well...or something..... I see it as the milestone and tell myself to forget it..
-
I never go there for that reason
-
6 RespuestasMade a post about this the other day.. Use of our sparrows would be great .. But also.. Adding a cabal mining event instead of waiting for the one event that spawns every 25 minutes if not more
-
I'd be happier if they just removed Mercury from flashpoint rotation so we would have no reason to go back. Better yet just remove Mercury. I have to say that planet more than anything else in D2 represents wasted potential that sort of sums up D2 Y1.
-
It needs at least two more public events
-
You have the infinite forest tough. It's infinite.
-
19 RespuestasOMG! LOL why?! seriously! you folks cant press that 'W' key or for the *cough* inferior types 'schtick' forward long enough to reach the Public event in this HUGE arse zone?!! OMG *laughs* walking away, these kids these days...do you need a walmart moto wheelie chair to get yah stuffs to?!! You folks kill me LOL
-
Nah mate, they need to maintain the illusion of the place being huge. That's exactly what it is btw. Its just to artificially enhance the size of the place. The length of the groan I make when I see the flashpoint on mercury...
-
1 RespuestaBut one boost and your off the map
