SMG’s are completely useless.
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that SMG’s are completely useless. With the shotgun meta they can’t even compete. Why even have them as a drop item?

Kid SMGs had there time to shine last season move on;)

they aren’t very good on pc, same with any automatic weapon. naturally, you will get more mileage out of precision weapons if you play on a keyboard. automatics are much harder to manage just because of the nature of the input device.

I've got the Gambit primary SMG with counterbalance mod and handling masterwork. It's pretty good.

15 RespuestasHuckleberry is pretty great in PVE. The thing that bothers me about the argument of “this is trash” is that it’s always skewed towards the PvP side of the argument which I can see being a thing due to the dominance other weapons have at similar ranges. But in PVE they are the most reliable weapons to pair with long range guns due to them not overlapping with utility of them unlike hand cannons which operate at similar ranges to scouts and pulses a lot of the time. Not saying they are terrible in PVP because that would be a lie. Just not preferred.

People who use them are just handicapping themselves in both pve and pvp but to each their own. They are shit though.

I almost never use them. But I use SMG in Call of Duty most of the times. Weird.

yup theyre basically useless, bad range, bad damage, bad recoil. im sure they could be fun for pve but in pvp you might as well run around only using your melee.
