1 RespuestaI have no problem going up against a 4 stack team. It's my choice to go into competitive matches solo. But when the match starts 3v4 and I'm still docked glory points that's a broken system and needs to be addressed.
-
If you start a match without a full team you shouldn't lose points for losing. Quitting? You leave, you pay the price.
-
6 RespuestasNo points given or taken if a match ends with less then the required amount of players on each team
-
6 RespuestasI can understand why they would still take points if someone quits mid match because people could take advantage of that. But if the match starts with 3 people on one team the losing team should not lose points. Not right after the match starts or during the match, but if you show up in the pose down screen with only three people and you lose it shouldn't penalize you.

Honestly I don’t see the point in having a win/loss system for tracking progress when the matchmaking is so bad, games start with less than full lobbies, players can’t control other players leaving, and no dedicated PvP servers. For all of those reasons the system that gets used is bad.
-
2 RespuestasFor me it is simple. If you leave a match you get 5 defeats instead of 1. BUT I would like to have the chance of getting back in the match.
-
15 RespuestasOr even better create a system that rewards your skill not how well your entire team did

9 RespuestasI started a Gambit match last night 1 v 4

1 RespuestaIt so simple ... if you start the match with 3 people on your team ... you don’t take a loss . If someone from your team gets kicked (which bungie can keep track of ) you don’t take a loss . However the team that wins can still have it counted as a win . That way there is still incentive to play through the match instead of knowing you don’t stand a chance and then just bashing your head against a wall trying to win while missing 1/4 of your team .
-
The amount of cheese that would result isn’t funny. It’s bullshit but I guess go in as a full fire team
-
Nope. We all know the pitfalls of the crucible playlist. Take your lumps. The crucible is never going to be "fair".
-
There should be stat loss prevention playing against 6 stacks.
-
10 RespuestasEditado por Beagler: 11/12/2018 2:51:36 PMIt's partly the playing communities fault that it happens. I'm not 100% sure but I think it could be caused by people leaving the matching last minute to try to avoid 4 stacks. It could be that Bungie wouldn't know it wasn't a 4 v 4 until after the event e.g. after the points are calalculated.
-
They should take the rocket league ranked approach. If a match loads up with less than 8 players in comp it’ll end the game without anyone losing any glory. Give everyone valor for the hell of it. But no loss or gaining of points.
-
2 Respuestas
Topic body
Nope, players that leave do so with a penalty, and can get banned. Let quitters leave, its just a Crucible match.

7 RespuestasEditado por Kazakhi Jay: 11/12/2018 5:40:21 AMAnd in quick play when you spawn into a losing team just at the match ends you shouldn’t lose your win streak
-
The first meatball I ever saw was in a 3 v 4 situation, and it was a 4-stack of taunty arses. We lost hardcore. None of them even needed the quest.
-
Happen to me this weekend in Gambit. Loaded into game and was immediately 3 v 4 with one of my teammates leaving before we even drop, so it's 2 v 4, so the Hunter and my Warlock try our best with people slowly loading in and leaving. We basically go our asses handed to us that the other team just stopped invading after the first match. Longest gambit match ever. I was on a 4 game win streak until that match..
-
1 RespuestaThey also should add loss prevention if you go into a comp match, and all three other players leave after the first match and you stick it out until the end
-
2 RespuestasIt wont happen a feature that should be in any comp game mode mind boggling they just dont think about this stuff
-
Any points should be based purely on your own performance. I mean, its not how it should be but its much better than what we have.
-
5 RespuestasI just wanna know why a team of people who are barely halfway into Heroic are being matched against teams in pushing Mythic and Legend? Like, sign the death certificates beforehand, Bungie.
-
The game should freeze till a new player or players join the game. I bet that would get annoying even for the cheaters doing the kicking, although they might do it to troll, it also won't advance them any to do it. All 1,120 of them. ;)

5 RespuestasEditado por zNapSack: 11/12/2018 9:38:13 AMYes, the game should be terminated and matchmaking should begin again and proceed until, ideally, the maximum number of players is found for both teams. If not then at least an equal number of players should be found for each team. Then again, there are potential issues with that. What if, for example, the team with two or three individuals were doing quite well against four others and doing so legitimately? Would it be fair to terminate a match? Granted, that may be highly unusual, but the possibility exists nevertheless. Of course, in that case, it would bring into question the matchmaking to begin with. However, there are some sports that do this. For example, an individual is pummeling another in a boxing match, which is called in order to prevent serious injury or death to the one who is clearly having a bad day. ETA: I see that the poster below says an Overwatch match is simply cancelled.
-
3 RespuestasOverwatch does this exact thing in their Competitive Mode. If someone leaves a match within a short time after the match begins (A little bit more than the time for an Idle-Kick) the match is cancelled and nobody's skill rating is changed except for the person who left.

I don’t mean to pull a Stannis Baratheon here, but it’s “fewer,” not “less.” Sorry. Old editors get triggered by weird things.
