I completely agree. They stripped out this content after season 1 only to sell it back to us now. Technically, we already paid for it! At least make them obtainable with bright dust. Making it silver only is suuuper shady. It’s like having something taken away from you, replaced by something you don’t like, then having that thing sold back to you by the person who took it. It is a complete scam.

^THIS^ It is literally reselling content. We already paid to have access to those emotes. While they were available Destiny was in it's worst state ever, Bungie was being anti consumer, and throttled our XP. Now after all the steps forward their going to take a massive leap backwards? Yea no. They're getting too comfortable. FotL emote was fine because it was a special event that was free. But when there's no special event going on selling old content back to people again isn't right, even if the people buying are those who just got the game. Its poor business practices and is pretty anti consumer in terms of respect for the consumer. These items if brought back should have been made available through gameplay. I don't know, maybe they could have had this week's step of the Lost Cryptarch quest award you with a temporal emote of your choice. That's the proper way to do stuff like this, especially after an event where a $10 emote was available. This is why microtransactions ruin games.
We already paid to have access to those emotes.
No you did not. Your ignorance is overwhelming.
-
So he couldn’t get it? Maybe not the only one with overwhelming ignorance.
-
You did not pay for them at all. Not a single item in the game
-
And that’s another problem. WHY REPLACE ITEMS. If people are continuously asking for more content, then why not just add all the previous eververse items into the loot pool. There is no reason to strip them out and then worse, sell them back to you. It’s so stupid and a dirty cash grab tactic.
-
it's called smart business. the items were given away, if you didn't get them during the allotted time you can buy it, very smart business. stop replying, you clearly are clueless
-
No need to be like that. I respect your opinion, just respect mine. Look at the bigger picture and don’t be “clueless” yourself. Of course I understand that it’s “smart business” but that doesn’t make it right does it? Doing business illegally can be classed as “smart business” but it doesn’t make it right. Go and spend your 1000 silver on a dance move and get off these forums. People have a right to say their opinions without being attacked.
-
Editado por Black Dynam1t3X: 11/7/2018 12:30:42 PMyes it makes it right. that's what a smart business does. they gave the crap away, if someone buys it they gain zero anything that effects you. your opinion is your mistaken ideas and are pointless. if you don't want it don't buy it, it's very simple. you aren't being attacked, you can state what you want, just don't act offended when the replies come in. that's how this works, you really don't understand much about life at all do you?
-
Tell that to the hundreds of people who agree with me. You clearly don’t respect people’s opinions. I never got offended, I was just trying to teach you to respect others. That’s the point of life. Being kind and respectful to others. Hope you have learnt the lesson.
-
just because there are many stupid people doesn't mean their collective wrong thinking is viable. you have nothing to teach anyone, much less me. try learning more then rethink your mistaken ideas. don't get on the internet with your opinions if you become offended when they are proven incorrect, asking for your own heartache.
-
You don’t understand me. What I am saying is that when we purchased the game, those items were available in bright engrams. When season 2 arrived, those items were replaced. They now want to give those previous items back to us, but for real money. You can’t defend this.
-
when we purchased the game, those items were available in bright engrams
You didn’t pay for content. You paid for a license to play their content as it’s designed. You play, you level up and earn a chance to get an RNG item. Heir license states that the content is subject to change at anytime. In this case it’s cosmetic items for direct purchase that will fund more content. Stop your millennial or gen z bullsihit entitlement and allow company, whose goal is to earn money, to do that.
-
you don't understand business. the items in game were not purchased by you, no matter the season. you purchased the rights to play Bungie's game, that is all. those items were made to be a limited time free item, at the end of the season they were pulled. now that they are out of season and circulation the sales of these items will fill out collectors wants, they are not a requirement, not previously paid for, and if you don't want them not a concern. why are you complaining? you have nothing to complain about!
-
I just don’t want this to be a common thing for games, that’s all. If you want to defend this, then fine, I can’t change your opinion. Just let me have mine. Bungie have made enough money on sales alone. Look at their twitter, many people agree. There is no reason to do this.
-
your opinion is just that an opinion. useless opinion. the fact is companies are in business to make money, not stop when you feel they have made enough. these items were offered for FREE, you do not have to buy anything they are selling at all. this is a case of if you don't want it move tf on and shut up, it doesn't pertain to you at all.
-
Baaaah. Baaaahhhh.
-
Exactly. In terms of conducts we don't even own our characters. Only a license to use them.
-
I wish more people understood this. We own nothing, we just own a license key to access their content.
