Lol. No you lost because you played worse then the other team. This idiotic debate needs to go away.
You won't get punished for winning the first round.
And you don't get punished for spawning the prime evil first.
Not once in almost 400 games have I lost because of catch up mechanics.
But I have lost because of teammates using their super on the boss when they have no stacks. Even before we get our first invasion.
They don't kill all the mobs while we wait for the invader. Just the envoys.
Just kill the mobs, save your ammo and super. Then just burn it down when you have 4 stacks.
And you have to keep invading yourself if they spawn their prime evil.
They can't win if you get there first, unless the invader kills you all non stop. Getting to the boss is just half the round you know, it means nothing.

Again, it's frustrating but that's how the mode works...you went in knowing that so why complain just because you lost? I bet if your team spawned it second and won, you wouldn't be complaining about the mechanics but that's our attitude these days, blame anything but ourselves when we lose

Yeah there’s a catch up mechanic...that doesn’t mean it’s a guarantee’d win mechanic lol. If it was as bad as people say it is EVERYONE would abuse it by letting the other team summon the prime evil first... stop blaming stupid shit for your losses and actually think about why you lost. “Oh I couldn’t kill the invader” “I couldn’t do enough dps” Gambits a fun game mode that shouldn’t be taken serious.
