1 RespuestaLol AND new guardians get a light level boost to 750! What the hell bungie! I’ve been playing this game for a year and I’m still 715, does that mean I will be behind all the noobs?
-
Sad to see everyone here saying this is fine, everyone who bought at launch has been quite frankly scammed saying this is okay is part of the problem , people who bought the game at launch should be given forsaken as compensation
-
2 RespuestasDo you believe destiny 2 was worth 60$? If so, then you got your moneys worth. If you paid 5$ for Halloween candy a week before Halloween, then someone got it for 2.50$ after Halloween, would you get angry and say that that candy manufacturer owes you 2.50$? An even better example - consider: you bought a loaf of bread for 3$ at 10 am. You ate the 3$ bread and enjoyed it. Then, at 10 pm, the store gives away all their bread for free because the bread is stale. The product is not what it was 12 hours ago. It is stale. It is bland. Would you get angry at that store, and be like, “-blam!- this store I want a refund”? No, you wouldn’t. It’s an outdated product.
-
Clearly youve never played any game ever
-
Bungie scamming? thats new..
-
3 Respuestaswhat are you talking about? I had to pay for my game
-
Unless you bought the game shortly before it went free (for a limited time I might add) then you shouldn’t be upset.
-
As someone who bought D2 and Forsaken on PS4 and have gotten my money's worth out of it, having it free (as the base game) on PC is great.
-
• Delete your Guardians. • Uninstall the game. • Stop sooking, generally. • Leave the forums. • Play something else.
-
You know other developers do this also right. It's a way the developers give back to the community and grow their playerbase. It's a win win really.
-
It's a year after release...
-
I waited till they fixed it and sold it with both the first expansions for £21. I don’t feel scammed one bit, I even bought forsaken at full price.
-
Well, at least you know now for D3. Wait 1 whole year and 2 months and you can play for free and be behind everyone else, right?
-
I feel a bit cheated, I didn't buy the base game tho.
-
If you read about this news in any detail, then you’d know it was Activision who made it free, not Bungie. Activisions game director made the announcement during Blizzards convention preshow. Bungie is the developer, Activision is the publisher.
-
Lol you forgot the satire. Unless you seriously believe this then I feel really bad for you being this dense.
-
Do you also feel scammed when a movie you paid to see in the cinema shows up on tv years later? Face facts bud, this is a marketing ploy to get more people playing on PC. it will help you play as it will get more bodies in pvp and strikes.
-
-
What exactly are you mad about? That they made a game that's been out for a year and has already moved on with 3 dlcs , free? Great, all the people that are getting the base game for free get to play content that nobody plays anymore and miss out on when those activities were alive and new. You played for an entire year for what you paid, experienced the height of all the content and are upset that other people are getting maybe a fraction of what you got out of the game for free. That's some serious special snowflake nonsense right there.
-
But fifa make dlc every years?
-
Yeah this is one of the worst parts about destiny Imo. Had this feeling really hard around ttk especially when they could get into the game for like 60 or 70 bucks when we paid like 140 at the time. -blam!-ing hate that shit
-
Right because opening the game to new people is such a bad thing. Look I get that people just want reasons to hate on destiny and bungie but this move and the one they had a couple months back with PlayStation getting it for free is a good thing, it helps with keeping the population alive and thriving. Destiny isn’t the first game to give out free copies and it won’t be the last.
-
You do know things go on sale all the time, right? Stop being a baby.
-
If you bought D2 and are still playing it now 1 year later you've easily had your worth from it even with the added purchase price of expansions.
-
I pre-ordered the both DDEs when D2 itself and Forsaken were released. That's about $190 then they made it free but I didn't care because I didn't miss out on everything.
-
Probably because the annual pass numbers are low and it might be extra incentive to buy it if you get a large chunk for free already.
