I really think the issue is a dumb arsed infuse implementation It should have been much better

Were you around for D1 infusion system? You needed legendary shards only obtainable from raids.

You needed etheric light to infuse, in d1yr1, that would drop from trials or reef bounties D1yr2 and 3 were totally different than d1yr1 Etheric light dropped like snowflakes in December

Trials and Reef only came in spring of year 1. Did you play vanilla destiny or dark below? That was a bad infusion system. We’re light years better than those days. Even during house of wolves season, remember how we couldn’t infuse old gear to new light level making it irrelevant?

I'm in the same boat as the rest of you but the difference is I enjoy the grind!

I don't mind the grind as I am working on Milestones but it gets annoying hearing the same people brag about all the exotics they have while I grit my teeth and say I have deleted about 100 edge transits and about the same for bad reputations but no exotics.

I only have 4 new Exotics and 2 of those are quest related :)
