Remove the bloom from hand cannons on console
Forgive me, It's utter bs that I can fire the bygones like A10 Warthog (Brrrrrrt) without any bloom, but there's bloom after one shot from my hand cannon.
The only reason there is bloom was to lower the skill ceiling. Josh Hamrick specifically said you guys wanted to widen the skill gap during the crucible stream on twitch a few months ago.
Remove the bloom on hand cannons. It ruins the gunplay. I should able to 3 tap opponents without pacing my shots. The fact that I am losing to engagements in Crucible due to the bloom is nonsense. I should not be punished for being skillful with a hand cannon. It ruins the overall gunplay.

6 RespuestasThe only real hand cannons this would effect are the 140-110 rpm arch type. Guns like the Duke and Ace of spades. Anyone with a Trust, Luna's, NotF do not care about this at all because those guns don't even feel it. Bloom is a complete non factor. Now I wish they would do something about Ace of Spades because that gun is practically unusable now.

7 RespuestasRemove Bloom completely. Damage fall-off keeps weapons balanced. Even if its 60 meters, if the handcannon sights are on someone it should still land some damage even if it tickles them for 5

Make hand cannons a three tap check......Nerf them so pulses rule the crucible double check....Bungie at their very best.

5 RespuestasWith the fact that everything is shotgun at cqc, and you cannot out dps a shotgun charger at cqc, and at range everything is bygons, and you need to land your shots to counter bygones at close range. There's not a lot of good reason to have bloom at this point. It's a big part of why precision hand cannons are the literal only thing I'm seeing in pvp right now. Well, that and ace of spades. Hand cannons have recoil that bounce the gun and your aim all over the place, if you can control the weapon, you deserve your shots to land on target.

Honestly why do dicks have to be so rude for no reason and be like learn to aim jack ass, like this guy is just expressing his views and he’s right tho, I’m a hand cannon main for most gun fights and I know what this guy is talking about, there is a bit of bloom making them less consistent and the reocoil+flinch make it pretty awkward to play sometimes, if what you’re gonna comment is rude just keep it to yourself

7 RespuestasThere is no bloom like D1. It's actual recoil. Go play D1 again and fire any hand cannon outside (x) range and shots will just miss. That doesn't exist in D2. I can fire my HC from any range and still land the shots if my reticle is on the target. I went back and played a bunch of D1 last week and the HCs were hot garbage vs D2.

If you're doing that then you're doing it wrong. They are a precision short barrel weapon and Bloom approximates the innate inaccuracy of a short barrel weapon if fired too fast.

Should change title to remove bloom from all hand cannons under 180 rpm on console.

1 RespuestaHand cannons kill too slow imo unless it's a 180. This game is too faced pace for anything under 180 rpm. Most of my encounters with better devils just end up being killed. I can get a kill but die from a teammate from the enemy team. Why? Because trying to put the one guy down took too slow. So yes there needs to be something to make anything under 180 rpms competitive.

7 RespuestasThings that cause bloom -jumping -hip firing Things that don't cause bloom -ADS -strafing (though it does displace your reticle slightly) -walking (causes reticle to swing) -getting hit (causes flinch) -shooting (causes recoil) Those other things? Swing, flinch, displacement, recoil, can all be predicted. You will be shot at when you shoot at someone. Don't blame it on bloom. If you can't use the Duke, then use the damn bygones. Don't blame it on bloom. If you like hip fire, use the freehand grip mod. And it seems pretty selfish that you would make this "problem" console only. Does PC deserve to suffer with their "bloom?" We don't have aim assist, and you think console deserves another advantage? Learn to aim, kid. Otherwise, use a different weapon. Sorry you can't 2 tap with the Duke. I'll admit I'm not the best with it, but I'm trying to improve with it. The recoil is pretty large on it. Don't blame your lack of performance on something that doesn't exist.

No bloom makes handcanons better than everything else. Hand canons are already at the top

Switch to PC lol no bloom there but you’ll also lose the crutch that is aim assist.
