Keep in mind most gamers (unlike you) have real lives in the real world.
We make great $$$ at our jobs and live very productive, fulfilling lives outside gaming.
Interacting with tryhard, no-life gamers (like you) just comes with the territory nowadays.

Editado por STARWoLF00: 11/1/2018 3:00:41 PMIt’s not about tryharding or donating too much time to play. I mostly play on the weekend. I just honestly believe most people are just trash. I discovered this truth waaaay back in d1. Seriously, most people are garbage across many game modes, for apparently no reason. Not being mean, just observant.
-
Perhaps but only tryhard, no-life gamers feel compelled to call out other gamers on their gaming abilities. And that's where those tryhard, no-life gamers really need to rethink their life priorities.

Ahhh the internet really is a wonderful place. Where everyone can be what they want to be and have what they say they have. It truly is wonderful isn’t it? The shield of anonymity. Look. It’s clear what OP said bothered you. So why would someone with such a fulfilling outside life be so bothered by what someone says about them in a video game?
-
Millennials nowadays. Breathe on them funny and then they go off crying about being bothered.
-
I mean when the OP is a broad post and you respond the way you did it’s obvious the shoe fit. Not only did it fit but it upset you that it did. Your assumption that someone needs to “no life” a game to be good at it. The fact that you throw out your “career” to try and deflect and kinda go “hey I may suck but my life is better than yours”. The fact that you do both of those while emphasizing that you’re older, or at least think so, than the people responding to you. You’re definitely bothered. It’s shows, but hey it’s fine. You got a “great” job and you’re “way” older than us. You’ve “experienced” life. So doesn’t it seem just a little childish that you’re on the forums trying to take a jab at kids?
-
You'll learn in time, kid.
-
Thank you for proving my point.
Its just a game man. No need to feel all upset about it
-
No worries. You've already proven mine.
-
Guys its all good. This privileged man child has a successful life because mom and dad helped set him up with their own money. Dont be jealous haters. Appreciate the hard work some parents are capable of. Every parent should be happy knowing they spent their hard earned money on their perfect man child so he can become “successful” all while condescending poor people on video game forums. This is a man child god. Respect people. Respect.
-
Thing is, if you're intelligent enough to be successful in real life, you should be smart enough to not be incompetent in this game. I'm not sure why having a productive and fulfilling life precludes excelling at your hobby.
-
Because for some, playing Destiny 2 is a temporary pleasant distraction from the real world.
-
Even though up until maybe 2 weeks ago you were playing destiny literally every day......
-
I like making videos on different weapons (for eventual posting to YouTube). I wasn't playing Destiny 2 for the sake of Destiny 2.
-
K.....but it was every single day since forsaken dropped and it was A LOT every day. Kind of weird that you have enough time to play that much and for the sake of YouTube videos, which in itself is odd that you have time for since you have such a crazy amazing job. You would figure with all the time you spent playing that you wouldn't be so quick to judge someone else that also plays a lot. Just a little hypocritical.
-
Thanks for the non-answer. And I wouldn't call it temporary if it's something you play on a regular/weekly basis. I can tell by your responses to other people that you're pretty bitter. You must have a very difficult job. I'm sorry. That's hard, that's really hard. My job can get pretty stressful, too. Especially in the first five months of the year. But I don't think that gives either of us a right to demean those who have more time to devote to this game or are just more talented. All that does is make someone come off as envious.
-
The adults on this forum understand my perspectives (as evidenced by all the likes I'm getting). The kids and Millennials won't (through no fault of their own; they're simply young and haven't experienced life to its fullest yet). It's all good.
-
Oh yes I forgot that having a life relates to doing poorly in a competitive style game mode.
-
There's a correlation.
-
No you’re just a lazy bum who doesn’t wanna try and wants a quick carry. If you have such a great life then why you on here talking shit?
-
I'm on the Destiny 2 forums sharing my perspectives because I find the comments more interesting than the eponymous game itself.
-
Lmfao doesn’t play the game but stays on the forums to criticize. Yeah you have such a productive life. Sounds like a loser to me.
-
Yes because multitasking between work and an online forum is SOOOOO difficult LOL. Get a job, kid. You'll see what I mean.
Yes because multitasking between work and an online forum is SOOOOO difficult LOL. Get a job, kid. You'll see what I mean.
Doesn’t have time or the fortitude to learn how to play a simple game during leisure time...but has the time to prolifically post about it while “multitasking” between stints of work. With due respect that just doesn’t sound reasonable...especially when considering that it’s pretty common for people to work their asses off at real jobs and then also get good at something that they enjoy doing away from work. Now I’m completely with you if you don’t enjoy Gambit and are just trying to fulfill some of Bungie’s activity breaking quest steps and bounties.
-
You've failed to consider at what stage I'm at in my career. But it's OK. You'll learn in time.
-
Lmao I work full time and go to school and I can still run circles around you in gambit and crucible. Stop making excuses for being a bad player.
