Bungie, fix SoS prestige
I have been running SOS prestige 3 times a week on my 3 characters since it released. Still no sleeper Simulant catalyst.
Most groups can't make it even through phase 1 of the boss. It ends up so toxic the group falls apart. I have cleared it before, but twice out of over 50 runs shows there is an issue in this raid. Increase the catalyst drop rate, as this and being 19 clears on last wish with no 1000voices is making me consider dropping the game, which is a shame because I do like destiny2.

You should really pass the checkpoint along and then just run phase 2 on your 2 alts.

1 RespuestaIf not getting a catalyst for one gun and not getting thousand voices is really what it takes for you to drop the game, then you should probably quit now tbh. The drop rates for both really aren't that bad (coming from someone who's done 20 raids with no thousand voices) but it's rng. By virtue of which it statistically will take some people one try and other people 100. I mean it's a pretty fundamental part of this entire game

1 RespuestaThe catalyst can drop from any encounter on prestige sos so if finishing it is a problem you’ve still got a lot of chances from the first half of the raid.

Its why I haven’t bothered to touch SOS since the week before foresaken launched, I can’t be bothered, theres so many other things to do. Once I get a seal; Dredgen more than likely I’ll probably try to focus on it but for now unless they raise the drop rate or have it drop in another source shit just isn’t worth the hassle. As for 1,000 voices its another crux of crota situation, you can have someone ( like me) get it under 5 clears, or you can run it 20x and not get it. I realized that you cannot force RNG to give you what you want, so you shouldn’t play any single activity too excessively to get what you want because you will only get screwed in the end and you will no longer have fun playing. Once the grind becomes too tedious focus on something else( like any other quest exotic), or even a seal. Least you’re guaranteed something in the end. Hopefully this update on Tuesday works for exotics across the board including catalyst drops. The strike catalysts seem to be dropping at a higher rate.

Most can't get though ph1 due to them not being used to prestige difficulty

SOS is the worst raid, crimson is a must though, you really need a solid raid team that knows exactly what they’re doing to get it done.
