I don't touch Gambit these days and wont until it stops being treated like a PVP mode with a bit of PVE by most players. It just isn't fun right now. Its a shame as its got tonnes of potential but Bungie need to up the chaos like Blind Well, six man team wrecking in there is so much fun, it seriously needs its own loot table. There should be no invasions allowed In Gambit until your teams Primeval is summoned (that should stop the portal camping) and even then only the top two players, by kills and motes banked, are allowed to invade (again, rewarding those who actually play the mode). You have to earn the right to invade. Plus the catch up buff needs to go, you shouldn't be punished for plating the game well. If anything, the team further ahead should be given a multiplier on damage dealt making it essential to get a good lead and keep it. Basically an all out race to the end with the winning team getting a higher chance of better loot. Oh, and make it six versus six too.

Again this is online gaming and doesnt matter a dog plays the whole gambit while sticking out and in its tounge... to sad only few lucky teams have that advantage to play those games in a team instead like us playing whenever have time from work as solo..

I agree that only certain players should be allowed to invade, dont have a clue how it would work but the portal camping is ridiculous, i know it's for the questline but its almost sn automatic loss if all 4 players arent killing ads collecting motes and banking and helping with the Primeval. Also sucks when someone invades when their Prime is still full health and we haven't summoned ours yet, wait for theirs to get down a little bit then invade and heal the Primeval.

I would have to disagree with you. The point (I think) of Gambit is to incorporate the pvp and pve together. I'm one of those that "camps" the portal. I go off get 5 motes and drop a blocker. I then protect our bank from enemy blockers/guardians while sniping mobs from around allowing my teammates to collect more motes, thereby dropping bigger blockers. As portals come up I go over to stop the opposing team from depositing motes or try to heal the primevil.

The problem is, the PVP component completely overshadows the PVE component. Good invasions win the game, period.
