Wow are @$$ backwards. Infusion is a meaning full choice. I wait to infuse untill im sure about my choice. I like how i can't just get all my gear super high. It makes my decision a thoughtful one. You are just a lazy, self entitled punk who wants everything given to him. Work for it. Earn it. Don't cry about it like a baby.

Agreed, I like I have to think before I infuse

“I like how I can’t just get all my gear super high.” Is this real life????
-
You mad, bro?
-
Love how you got roasted for this comment.
all my characters are 600
-
Soldier...you're a pompous fool.
-
Your highest character is 511.. shut your -blam!-ing trap, casual
-
Bro it's not that hard to check the actual characters gear and see they have weapons in the 590s and their just wearing a Festival mask... lol
-
HHAHA well I guess that’s my fault for be ignorant
-
Except it really doesn't. Why? Because you can always just go to spider and buy more. The fact that they have a vendor that will sell them all day as long as you're willing to give up legendary shards just proves their reasoning was bull shit.
-
Editado por amandajc808: 10/27/2018 1:02:56 PMThat an the actual cost of purchasing anything off him. Biggest con artist in the game, ever..
-
You’re an idiot.
-
I would argue that master working is a more meaningful choice, infusion less so, it doesn’t really bother me though as the power levelling process and drop rates means you aren’t tied to a particular weapon you don’t like for too long when it’s your highest power level, that said it’s nice get a decent drop and be able to keep it relevant with infusion without it crippling your stock of cores, the fact Bungie are addressing the issue shows its a problem.
-
In all truthiness, if you can’t “keep it relevant” by going to Spider when needed and buying 2 cores..., then that’s on you. Not the game. Most of the ppl here who are throwing a fit over the name or over the process of infusion are ppl who believe: “I bought the game, therefore I should have everything immediately, and be able to play with it all now.” Do I think cores should have been added to the infusion process? No, it makes little sense to me. Do I think we should be able to buy corse from Spider as we are able to now, daily? Also no. Regardless of opinions, there are easy routes to keep your gear “relevant” soley through playing the game.
-
infusion is playing the game dumb ass
-
Editado por Dray: 10/27/2018 1:57:43 PMIt wasn’t a problem for me tbh, I had a lot of cores and legendary shards and only used them sporadically, now I’m 600 across all my chars I’m reluctant to upgrade until the changes are in game, as master working is so expensive and that’s coming from someone with a decent stockpile, for anyone who doesn’t have the luxury of a stockpile it’s a bit of a pain, master works should never have been part of the infusion process especially when you take into account the cost of master working and a lack core farming beyond RNG.
-
My post wasn’t directed at you individually, the “you” was meant to apply to anyone who reads who believes masterwork cores are so rare their guardian can’t function inside the game. I find that belief hyperbole at its’ best and completely nonsensical at its’ worst. There is a way to farm cores, buy them from spider daily, it’s the easiest farm imaginable. I’m with you on it shouldn’t have been in the process, but I also believe they shouldn’t be for sale. One balances the other out, from my perspective. Who knows, maybe Bungie saw our collections of 400 masterwork cores and 10,000 shards and felt a need to dilute the wealthy. Problem with that logic is the guardians who were wise enough to hoard specific mats in anticipation of Forsaken are not that stupid to blow everything they’ve saved. Most of my weapons I use are 600 and masterworked. Most of my armor pieces that are “enhanced” gear are also 600 and masterworked. And I still have several hundred cores and almost 13,000 legendary shards. Cores are more easily obtained now than ever. They are, at the same time, more used/useful than ever. I still don’t see why all the hoopla has existed over their scarcity, they are not rare, or their name.
-
well deal with it they will be easier to get
-
Editado por Dray: 10/27/2018 2:33:24 PMI get that and agree with you but we represent a small minority that has a lot crafting items stockpiled, truth be told i minor surgery not long after launch and that helped me out massively to get my stock[lies sorted, had I been working I would’ve been in the far worse state, but the people that didn’t through no fault of their own are struggling, don’t get me wrong casuals can have a coke and smile and then f*ck off, they are the reason the game released the way it did, I would rather there was a good farming method then buying them from spider, it’s not that it’s easy it’s more that it’s lazy design, that said I’m looking forward to the changes, reasons to play is what we need and hopefully core farming will be another.
-
well this game is back to being the same messed up shit destiny 1 is . so enjoy your crap fest mess . but Bungie better get some lessons from real loot based game devs and learn a few things
-
Agreed 1,000% that buying mats is an easy way out, lazy. Whether I was wealthy, wrt mats, when Forsaken dropped is not the point though. The fact that my wealth has increased tremendously soley by playing the game and buying from Spider daily, is the point. Had I started out at 0 cores and 0 shards, I would have still accumulated mats and masterworked/infused my gear as needed. Soley by playing the game. So, the question that needs to be asked is how much time would be necessary to achieve that balance from someone not putting in multiple hours per day. And, keep in mind, that guardians don’t necessarily find the most optimum routes to accumulate in-game mats. Because of the belief that “gathering mats is boring, I want to do the space magic stuff”. lol. My belief is that most of the ppl complaining don’t want to gather mats, as it sucks, is way more boring than hours in competitive or Gambit, nightfalls, raids, etc... Then when faced with the bill, they have no money to pay for it. And now they’re demanding handouts, economy changes, etc...
-
Wait? If you started with zero cores and mats you would masterwork whatever you would have liked Sorry....no.. at 17 cores per weapon and 10? Per armor piece, theres no way you could have kept pace Buying from spider is prohibitive to say the least with the price doubling on purchase, do you realize how much it costs to buy ten cores from spider? And the vendor grind is iffy and random to say the least, a couple of weeks ago I did 1000 shards and got 10 cores, yesterday i did the same thousand and got 3 Not trying to be argumentative, but, that's the reality of the situation. The only ones who seem to be faring a little better are those that grind pvp, since rank ups drop 10 cores, and I'm not sure if that's every rank up
-
It’s a good debate. I don’t find you argumentative at all. I understand your point, buying more than two or three is foolish, MW Cores from Spider that is. But, if you buy 3 per day, daily over the last 50 days, you would have at least 150. Not counting the 7 from each toon’s weekly inside FoTL. And not counting the ones you get from breaking legendaries down that have cores in them. Plus the consumables that drop mw core guaranteed. Also, not every piece requires a full 17 or 10 cores to masterwork. There have been numerous weapons already at a high tier and Many pieces of armor already at Tier 4, just 1 under max Tier I’ve received as random legendary drops. Just by playing the game a tiny bit daily, since Forsaken started, you should have 100 cores, 2 purchases from Spider per day. That’s roughly a dozen pieces of armor or half that in weapons to fully masterwork. Or, It’s 50 pieces of gear to infuse. That’s 1 a day, if you’re not masterworking anything. That’s not counting any other ways to get them like consumables, legendary breakdowns, or FoTL. Brand new players will be behind in all materials collection, including leg shards. It’s just a catch up game for ppl who’ve never played or those who play only an hour or two a week. This game, as it stands now, requires a time sink but I don’t find it to be overly onerous. I stand by my belief that masterwork cores have never been easier to obtain or more common. The other side to that is they’ve never been more needed, as in infusion.
-
I understand your point about buying two a day, but, as you said 50 days to get 100 is kind of defeating the purpose And it was a lot easier to get cores before forsaken, they basically dropped every third or fourth engram, and they also gave more, I dont think I have gotten 2 cores from dismantling a piece yet And the festival cores have only been here going on two weeks, and leave next week I'm just more partial to the way it was in regards to experimenting with different builds or weapon setups, this just seems overly restrictive and just simply not as fun as the d1 setup, but then again, what in this game is lol But, I see what you and others are saying, to me it's just a hindrance on what I would like to do
-
It is a hindrance, an impediment. There are many reasons Bungie could have placed a wall like that in front of us. They might have seen my, along with others, vaults at the end of year one, almost the entire vault fully leveled and fully masterworked. I’ve rarely used MW Cores for infusion. Almost exclusively when needed to push my Sleeper, Polaris, or Whisper etc..., to 600. I play until I get a higher level Nameless or Trust and infuse same item to same item. There really isn’t a right or wrong way of approaching the game and its’ economies, but there are ways to make you go broke very quickly! lol. I try to avoid those routes, as much as I’m able to! lol
-
Lol, I try the same. I came into forsaken with 250 cores and 3000 shards, thinking it would be like d1 and I could experiment like before My first stop at spider I was at 320 paid out before I realized it wasnt 10 apiece lol Systems not unworkable, just slower and a little more frustrating than d1 is all
