People like you help pour fuel into the fire. Instead of getting partisan politics into this and making people mad, maybe just maybe we can be unified and condemn domestic terrorism. But that's alot to ask for these days.

Like the people who just gather to offer prayers and condolences when there's been another mass shooting? No, thank you. You can't solve a problem if you are unwilling to call that problem what it is. ...and you can't call a problem what it is, if you insist on avoiding having to face it directly. American Culture has long had an ugly, FASCIST under belly. One that its been invested in DENYING the existence of. But its real....and every generation it tries to gather strength and steam and push its way into mainstream American life. We'll we can't fight the fascists unless we call them what they are....and we can't fight the fascists until we're willing to admit that the over the last 50 years The Conservative Movement has dragged the Republican Party so far to the Right that they are rubbing elbows with the fascists now. So that the crazy, authoritarian conspiracy nuts that William F. Buckley had sense enough to banish from the Conservative movement 70 years ago when they were the anti-communist Birchers....have essentially taken over the place. No. People NEED to get mad. But the need to open their eyes and figure out WHO it is that they're supposed to be mad at...and stop listening conspiracy theorists, fascists and other "Terrible Simplifier" and Demagogues. "When Fascism comes to America, it will wrap itself in the Flag and be carrying a Cross." ----Sinclair Lewis. "It Can Happen Here."

Can you provide a example of fascism from the repubican party? I bet you look the other way when you see the actions of antifa, you probably even praise them.

Look at the rhetoric of the man in the Oval Office. It’s soft-core White Nationalism and his attacking the media and calling them the “Enemy of the People” is straight out of the totalitarian playbook. In fact it’s Stalinist rhetoric. Also I’m a critic of Antifa. They may be well-intentioned, but they have become the monster that they set out to slay. They have become a part of the problem of authoritarianism, not s solution to it.

<I'd agree that the media is untruthful. Just not the way he says it, as I include Fox.>
-
I know fox dose it as well. My concern isn't fake news. But they just won't tell the whole story. They need to tone down the emotion and opinion and more facts. But it might be to late.

The NBC's are co-owned by GE, who makes weapons (they even sold munitions to Hitlet after we got involved) yet people pretend they are some left leaning media? They pander to left but where are they when they are needed? How come the only person to actually question Iraq, Phil Donahue, had his show cancelled despite having better ratings than shows like Hardball with Chris Matthews? They didn't start questioning things until well after we were there. And even then they didn't report in things like all the bonuses those companies got despite a military audit showing mass fraud. Why don't any of them bring up the rebels we are supporting in Syria are terrorists, including al Qaeda, who want to overthrow the Syrian government and install Sharia Law? It and partisan politics is just a distraction and at the end of the day they probably all have a drink together and laugh at how gulable the masses are.
Look at the rhetoric of the man in the Oval Office.
I know he has bad rhetoric and I don't like it. But when it comes to fighting back against crazy liberals, he's our best man. He's the only one who could've beaten Hillary.
It’s soft-core White Nationalism and his attacking the media and calling them the “Enemy of the People” is straight out of the totalitarian playbook. He called fake news the enemy of the people. He hasn't made policy against the media. You don't need to be submissive to the media. Explain the white nationalism? In fact it’s Stalinist rhetoric. He calls everything that isn’t right-wing media “fake news”. IOW the entire Free Press.
-
He calls ANYTHING even remotely critical of HIM "fake news". Doesn't even matter what leaning it has
-
True. His ego is that fragile. He literally walks around with his character defenses on his sleeve. Problem is he operates at the level of an under parented 6 year old.

Free press. Give me a break. They are private bussinusses who have a auidance to appeal to. They do this for ratings. I like trumps policy of giving lesser known journalist to ask questions. Overall I just hope society can condeam violent political behavior no matter the side. I don't know what side you're on. I hope you chose wisely. And don't let politics get to you. Don't let it tear your family apart like my. A party needs 60 votes in the senate, a potus and control of the house. They also need 30+ states on their side. Most people want rapid change, that's impossible.

Smh. Wow. Do they just not teach civics anymore?
