Alright I’m making a post, some of these are specifically for my Awoken female Warlock I imagine that Ikora would go -blam!-ing nuts on everything, -blam!-ing up every damn living and dead thing she sees. Especially since I’m a Warlock, her greatest protégée, the student that surpassed the master and such. Zavala would probably act hard on the inside and be quiet all the time, but once he would be alone he would let it all out. Death of Cayde, followed by the greatest guardian of the city ranks, would devastate him. People of the City would be shocked probably, since, well, [i]The Guardian[/i] was basically a god in an average City resident’s eyes. Amanda would probably take our ship and make it some kind of a statue or something. She would cry while doing it. Saladin and Efrideet would mourn in the ways of the Iron Lords since I am one of them now. Petra Venj and the Awoken would probably mourn us in the ways of the Awoken, since my character is an awoken, and everyone is calling me “cousin” and i’m basically one of them. Mara Sov would say that the loss of such a powerful Guardian is a beginning of something terrifying, a new dark age. Spider would respectfully not joke and make fun of our death. I feel like he respects me deep inside, even tho he would never admit it. Same goes for Asher. Failsafe would probably glitch tf out, this would be the second captain that she lost. Devrim would drink something in our honor. Hawthorne would most likely run out back into the wilds to be alone and let everything out, she seems pretty fond of me Shaxx would mourn silently like Zavala at first, then yell at everything and everyone and go back to Crucible to rip folks apart. Xur would send a message to the Nine, saying that something will happen, that this is a sign. Shiro-4 must already be devastated because of Cayde’s loss. This would probably drive him so crazy that he would need to reset, becoming Shiro-5. Banshee would probably not even remember us, but if he did, poor guy would need to reset as well probably. Osiris would put a memoir of us somewhere in the Vexverse Ana Bray would probably become depressed af, seems like she liked me very much. Variks would mourn as well probably, making some kind of fallen ornament in our honor Sloane would bury that sadness in work work and work

Let's put it this way... if we died the rest of the city and the guardians would die so very quickly after. Lol we do everything. You know those "legendary guardians" that are always talked about? "Oh Shin did this and saint did this and Kabr and Osiris..." Yeah we one upped all of them in every game and expansion. So I'd wager they'd all be dead without us. If they're legends then we're basically the god of guardians. In fact I kind of wish the in game lore reflected this more. I wish people in the Tower were like "o my -blam!- it's him! He killed Oryx, and Crota, and Time warping Vex Minds, and stopped a technological plague, and helped stop Ghaul, and has passed all of Emperor Calus' greatest challenges, and slayed the last Ahamkara..."

We're pretty dope, but may be thinking a little too highly of yourself thinking that the universe will just explode without us.

I dunno, man. In D1, I was the Hive Bane, I was the God Slayer, I was King Sh*t of F*ck Mountain. In D2 the majority of those NPCs didn't even know who I was. Pretty sure the City wouldn't lose sleep if I took an extended vacation to Deadsville.

Speaking for my Titan... Zavala probably wouldn’t resign outright from the vanguard. Maybe he’d commission for a statue to be made somewhere in the Tower Ikora might walk away without saying a word. Then about how he’s gonna miss us Failsafe would have a complete core malfunction and question her paradoxical emotions she’s feeling Ana would definitely cry. She almost proposed to me after we helped her save Rasputin and break a few vanguard rules for her Tyra Karn would create a special City archive documenting our achievements The Drifter would just laugh it off and say how we were his friends. Then say something about how we had so much potential after we destroyed the malfunctioning servitor and all the motes we gathered in gambit Shaxx would dedicate a moment of silence during the crucible. He would forge an exotic specifically in my honor. He would construct an exotic sniper rifle and call it “Dragon Fang”. He’ll tell the new recruits all about my achievements in the crucible Saladin would make a memorial for us. He would praise us for destroying Siva and becoming an iron lord. For me, he’ll forge an auto rifle with solar rounds. It’ll be called “The Dragon’s Roar”. Everywhere he goes he’ll tell the story of how we were an actual dragon Calus would make a statue of gold. A tribute to us and our power displayed for him on the Leviathan. For me, he would say that he acknowledged me as the Red Dragon Emperor. He respected me as a ruler Petra would also be devastated. We were the best chance at destroying the Scorn and removing the curse that Riven cast upon the Dreaming City. Without us leading the way, the Awoken will be overwhelmed and there will be no more resets to the curse. After our death, Petra may petition the Queen to make me an honorary Queen’s Wrath beside her As for Mara Sov herself, she would probably give up the will to keep fighting. Without us, her techeuns would still be taken and the entrance to her throne world would be in jeopardy. Personally, she knew I loved her. I told her myself that I would live for her and make her an Empress. My devotion to her was eternal. She may take it upon herself to carve out an amethyst statue and place it next to her ascendant throne, where I will be able to stay by her side forever

If we died Destiny wouldn't exist. That's why Quria resets our path so we can try over and over again until we succeed with the knowledge gained from our previous lives.

I think Osiris would actually be angry with the vanguard. Like I can imagine him calling them out “He/She was our best chance!”. As for Saladin I can see him giving us a statue and a weapon or something made in our honor. “You have earned your final rest my brother/sister...but it came all too soon.”.

Mara might make a wish to bring us back - not for the same reasons that she brought Shaxx to her though.
