I realize most wont care, but after many hours and lots of deaths I finally beat that stupid throne solo. Highest achievement I’ve done in Destiny in a looonnnngggg time. Thank you Bungie for making such a difficult and challenging activity 😃
Edit: We’re trending! Thank you guys all for the positive feedback. To answer a lot of questions, I went in with my curated chattering bone as my primary, a heavy hitting void sniper as a secondary for the ogre, a random year one pulse with dragonfly as my secondary for the final boss, and whisper as my main heavy through the whole thing.
Tips: I can only speak for what worked for me so here goes
Ogre:
1. Take your time, it’s hectic in there by yourself so use cover to your advantage and don’t get greedy.
2. Whittle away at the witches until they’re one shot for the three. Start on your end of choice and start killin. Once you get your final one down, don’t be afraid to use your heavy to quickly take down the last one, but don’t be freaked out about the time, it’s longer than you think.
3. I went in as a warlock so using Well on dps phase is almost a must. You can almost ignore the axion darts in the Well, but white nail will proc on the darts to get them out of your way
Final boss
1. Soon as the fight starts get whispered breathing to proc, one shot on each knight, then adds
2. This is where dragonfly is important. Kill the adds as fast as possible on one side, then grenade and shoot on the other side.
3.Start hitting knights until they have 1/3 health left.
4. Get through another wave of psions, kill the knights, then lay into the main boss and watch in glee as her health melts to zero
5. Pat yourself on the back cause you’re awesome
Hope this all helped in some way? You’re all amazing, good luck to you all!

15 RespuestasCongrats. More out of curiosity and knowing full well that I stood a snowball chance in hell, but I went in to see how far I could get on my own.... I could not get past the Thrall hallway.
-
I tried to but always died in the beginning cause I wasn’t patient. I will get it next time. It’s a fun mission though from the beginning.

1 RespuestaEditado por JzstNo: 10/23/2018 9:09:39 AMI did it solo its not even hard. Nearly got flawless but died from a unexpected hobgoblin sniper. Doing it solo is nothing that incredible. I'll get the flawless next time it comes around
-
GG, and thanks for the tips
-
12 RespuestasGG. Died to the Ogre on my attempt this weekend. Will finish up the solo, but not the flawless. At least, not until next time.
-
Gg man! I got mine done this week on my hunter. Hell of a challenge!

6 RespuestasCongrats, I can't even get past the thrall hallway area. Not sure why bungie thinks infinite spawns is fun.
-
Well done I did it last week with 3 I tried it with two first time round and we managed to get to ogre. It was fun an hard work being under power. We got the wish ender this weekend gone, well worth the time an effort. 👍

5 RespuestasI don't understand why/what is the problem with it? I would love to friends that are in my fireteam all the time. I wish I had that kind of thing. Now that I think about it, I used to have a fireteam that I used to roll with 24/7. I was the hunter and the other two were titan and warlock. It was a real friendship thing we were always playing together. I miss them both very much. I haven't had stable fireteam like that since we split up. I just now realized that we split up because our lives started to become different. My fireteam, Fireteam Delirious, a Titan, Hunter, and Warlock, had different fates. We became a family of sorts and then I lost my fireteam to the Darkness. Anywho, I attempted The Shattered Throne when I was 536. I had no idea how difficult it was so I abandoned the activity but I should be able to do it alone when I become more powerful. I would rather do it with a fireteam, a new fireteam that would stick together until that would not abandon each other no matter what. I roam the Sol system as Warlock, searching for a new fireteam where we all of the same goal: to find our Destiny and BECOME LEGEND, together, as one, as family.

2 RespuestasIs this only available on full curse weeks?

1 Respuesta*High five* ✋ 🤣 Place really isn't that difficult. When it first came out, my brother and I slayed up to the ogre, when we were low af on light. Just dont be an idiot that likes to rush through stuff really fast to make yourself feel "pro" and you're fine 👌

Nice one👍 I wanted to level up to try out the shattered throne but I just lost interest in the game and it's no longer on my hdd anymore and it'll take too long to install again anyway but I am having fun on other games so that's a plus I guess😁
-
Nice one, Dirk! Pete and I saw you doing this the other day. Very impressive.
-
Well done mate, happy for you man 👊

3 RespuestasIs there an emblem for flawless, or solo?
-
Congrats! I doubt I'd ever solo it without throwing my controller. LoL. I've yet to even try it.
-
Now the real challenge: solo flawless
-
But did you do it without dying

6 Respuestasno one -blam!-ing cares

Juzt beat it yesterday. I am amazed people can solo this. Congratz dude!
-
Congrats. I finished this as a 3-man squad, we wiped and died a good bunch of times in the process. As I'm just an average player, no way I'm trying to solo this. Maybe I'll run it again in 3 weeks to help clanmates and shoot a few eggs, but nothing more. Again, congratulations. And good luck to all those still struggling with this dungeon.
-
Good job! I’m no where near high enough light level (or skill level to be honest) to try that.
-
20 RespuestasWhat power level were ya? Think I can do it at 576? First part was easy enough but Idk how I'd stack up against the 590 power enemies towards the end. Dont exactly wanna wait another 3 weeks to try either lol

8 RespuestasEditado por DeusFever: 10/22/2018 6:47:38 PMLegit couldn't 3 man Vorgeth. We'll try the strat of whittling down the witch's health. This is seriously the most difficult encounter in terms of taking enemy damage. Anyone that solos this is supernatural.
-
Just did Vorgeth in 2 phases a moment ago (warlock). The back of the room (opposite you come from) has very little cover. Instead of clearing back trash before wizards just clear that one all together when you go for wizards. Without other wizards shooting at you it's easier to kill stuff in back by line of sighting to boss and strafing while you shoot the trash. Kill left, right, and center trash, start working around the room taking out wizards, take out back group + wizard, dunk, dps boss. Get to safety when you hear the wailing and from there just repeat. As a 600 well warlock I was able to ignore the axion bolts completely. I also dps'd right on the platform I dunked on. I'm a god awful terrible sniper and being close to the boss was imo significantly easier seeing as the only thing on your screen is a giant eye and a storm of axion bolts. Never missed a shot 😂
