IKELOS_SG Grind - 60+ Clears, NO LUCK
So, my husband and I have been grinding Escalation Protocols (61+ Level 7 clears combined) and we still haven't had a single drop of the IKELOS_SG_V.1.0.1. To put it lightly, the grind just isn't fun anymore when the fireteams you're grinding with all get the drop, and you don't.
Any ideas as to fix our crappy RNG aside from a fireteam medallion?

I was just finish the Warmind DLC stories and roaming mars to find the thingy for Sleeper Simulant quest. Saw some players were doing public event with giant bosses that not taking much damage. So I just joined to help them..End up finished every level thru the level 7. I couldn't open the chest..need key..idk. But I got the SG.

Are you grinding for it on the correct weeks? Shotgun only drops 3 out of 5 rotations

Took me 64 completions to get all of the guns. It’s a frustrating grind for sure.

1 RespuestaOn a side note, has anyone used the ikelos hand cannon lately? I’ve been using it in comp since I don’t have a trust and AoS/better devils/etc don’t seem to be doing it for me. What I’m getting at here is does the ikelos hand cannon feel inconsistent with its rate of fire? I used it in warmind and I swear I remember it fired it bit faster than what it does now. I know it says 180 rpm, but it feels more like a 150 rpm. Or do I just suck with it?

Sincerely salted, MrsCatatOnyx.[/quote] It's unfortunate that RNG, rather than strategy, dictates eligibility of rewards, particularly for activities such as this. For me, I never joined an EP-specific fireteam; I received all of my rewards thus far as a random, with an EP already in progress. No fireteam medallion used either. In my case, I like EP, so I keep playing, with no expectation of a reward (other than shaders). Received my first SG (fully Masterworked) at #13, and a second at #28. Hopefully, perseverance pays off, and RNG glances in your direction. Good luck.

It’s just rng. It sucks, I’m sorry it hasn’t dropped. I didn’t get it till Sunday but it was only about 40 tries. I invited a dude off LFG who had 80ish completions and still needed the SMG and shotty. I already had the SMG and sniper before my shotty landed. Hang in there. If you have one, equip a helas basin glimmer ghost and at least get some materials out of it. The shards are nice, too.

2 RespuestasI read that EP weapons are on rotation. So if the Shotgun is not in rotation this week no matter how much you run it you wont get the gun. But i cant confirm because i havent beaten Warmind yet

You have to be super close!! 1-10 runs smg 20-30 runs sniper dropped a few times and received the exotic Colony launcher. 60-64 runs shotgun finally lol.

1 RespuestaStrange, the drop rate is supposed to increase by a bit every time the boss doesn’t drop it. The chance goes up about 5% per boss or something like that. Hope you get it though, it took me forever too.

So last week I was a little disillusioned of the grind so I went to mars to chill out and explore as I hadnt played alot of warmind bar the story, a group was grinding EP so I thought why not, jumped in and first clear (ever for me) landed the shottie I literally sat back in my seat dumbfounded and mouthed WTF. Hang in there wishing you and the hubby some good RNG luck

3 RespuestasNow is the week to grind it . The end boss only drops the shotgun. It took me 21 runs to get it . It took my buddy 1 . If your getting bad drops or none at all chance up your character . Seems to help usually during a chase .

Waiting til next week when it's the only gun in the pool might help. Plus I'm sure you guys will appreciate the breather from EP

6 RespuestasI just got a EP Shotty yesterday after my 64th clear. Yes it’s annoying but it is the BEST Shotty in the game ! Don’t give up , you’ll get that Shotty sooner or later.

RNG are real. Helping my friends yesterday and one of them 15 down and no shotty just the SMG. One got it after 7 down. And I got another SMG and SR by helping them.

1 Respuestai did around 30 plus clears before i got the shot gun stay and keep clearing at lvl 7 instead of a full reset apparently the drop rate gets better as you go but resets if you start from scratch
