Put Telesto back in heavy
This will fix the Telesto problem

5 RespuestasWow all the post saying no STFU shotgun noob. I don't use a shotgun and I agree telesto needs to be put back into the heavy slot. It is a fusion rifle that has the sticky grenade trait from grenade launchers. So even if only 1 telesto bolt hits you still die. Not even if 1 hits if they miss and you back track into where they landed you still die ! Telesto needs put back into the heavy slot.

3 RespuestasNo. You'll just have another weapon that gets BROKEN for PVE play because you PVP players refuse to adapt. Telesto is already sort of underpowered compared to other special weapons. Move it to the Heavy slot....and now it has compete with giants like Whisper of the Worm, Sleeper Simulant, Two-Tailed Fox, and the legendary tracking rockets with cluster bombs that are reappering in the game (my Hunter got one to drop yesterday). All you'll wind up with is a weapon that no one uses anymore. Especially in PVE. Because, once again, PVP hypocritically players demand that PVE players 'adapt' when they themselves refuse to do so.

If fusion rifles and snipers were just a little bit better and more consistent, the telesto and shotgun problems wouldnt be as rampant.

3 RespuestasAll the people hear saying "no it's the only counter to the shotgun noobs"; A. Are flat out wrong, shotguns have a ton of counter play to beat them. If you cant beat a shothunner than you're simply not a skilled player. And B. It's not about the lethality of the weapon, it's about the versatility of it. It's a shotgun, sniper, and landmine all wrapped up into one. There are simply more benefits to using that gun as a special than literally any other. Which breaks the pvp environment. There is no competitive reason not to use it, because it is better than all other specials. Go into comp playlist and get into fabled tier and you will see it on every team. Becouse it allows you to control the map and heavy spawn. Or trap the enemy team long enough for your team to flank. It's not how much you die to the gun, it's about how there is no counter to the guns ability to lock you down. If a gun is the best option in almost all situations and has no counter play it'll ruin the pvp environment.

Actually i think they should’ve been more aggressive with the slot moving and moved acrius to energy and whisper to energy as well, and then buff rocket launchers. With the really fast ttk we now have, any fusion in the game 1shots, and there’s no reason to go backwards here, unless you want to go back to shotguns being in the heavy slot again, which i’m sure many would welcome, but there’s no reason to move stuff back to where it was, change your tactics and stop rushing a guy 50 feet from you if he has a fusion, fusions are the intended shotgun counter weapon, and telesto uses up an exotic slot, if you think it’s so good why not use it yourself and quit complaining?

26 RespuestasI've died to Telesto less than 5 times since Forsaken dropped. Telesto isn't a problem just like shotguns aren't a problem. If you die to anything repeatedly and can't figure out that's what your opponent is using and to not keep attacking them the exact same way every single time, you're always going to be fodder.
