I've got into Haunted Forests instances full of people who *refuse* to put on a mask, I even had one dude tell me to F*** off and saying I make no sense since his light level was at 597 ...yeah... yeah it doesn't work like that... See, there's a reason why Bungie made it so the mask is needed to enter the matchmaking- You don't need high light, but you do need a mask since that is what it's made for, PLUS: YOU GET A TON OF BONUS DAMAGE AND UPGRADE IT SO IT DOES MORE! And if you decide to wear that new exotic helm you just got? Well, you're CRIPPLING THE FIRETEAM. So please, if you're one of these people who jumps into Haunted Forest and is bound determined to play it without a mask... just don't. It's sad that with how much playing it takes to reach 597 that people are bound determined they're going to be "mvp" because of it and completely negate the Festivities; I'm looking at a lot of these guys as examples in the community and they are *the worst kind* of role models, do not emulate this behavior especially if you have two dudes who are patiently and persisting in insisting that you put your mask on or leave. BONUS TIP: You clear adds to reach the boss till you reach 100%, you don't rush through every room Strike-Playlist style. TL;DR- Understanding trumps Light in the Haunted Forest- for gods sake, keep the mask on, your teammates appreciate it.
