I had just logged in for the day to do the new festival of the lost quests and I wanted to do my weekly strike milestone after the first couple of event missions were finished and I was mid strike on the Xol strike and I was abruptly logged out of my account and on trying to login to the game again I was told that my account had been banned?! The only applications I had open were the blizzard launcher, spotify, and chrome open with my clan's page off bungie.net. Very confused and annoyed after pouring $ into this game. Not sure if this was some bug in the auto-ban system or what but I have seen two other people with this issue too under the pc support section of help on the forums.

2 RespuestasNo need for a 2nd post. Bungie doesn’t comment/discuss individual bans. The SRT found something that was against policy running on your PC (even if in background & not specifically for D2).

7 RespuestasTypically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, autofire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific or if the license key(s) were obtained from a less than reputable source. Bungie does not discuss restrictions or bans. Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929
