Currently throwing knives hit for 130 damage (to the head) in crucible, and I don’t think it’s rewarding the sharp aim it takes to land the headshot.
I know you guys gave the throwing knife 12 more damage when forsaken launched, but I don’t feel the buff did enough to make it worth going for. There’s so many moments where I throw that knife and they survive with the smallest amount of health left. My suggestion is that knives should hit between 140 or 160 damage for a headshot.
Very nice suggestion from cornadojoe: a OHK from explosive knife wouldn’t bug me too much. Way of the outlaw IMO is lacking and I like the idea.

1 RespuestaI'd be down for throwing knives to do 160. A OHK isn't necessary
-
So... I forgot that insurmountable skullfort is a thing. Completely recharges shoulder charge on a kill... which it is a guarantee of. Completely -blam!-ing broken
-
I don't like the idea of OHK but a faster animation and flight speed would really help. I also think they could greatly improve cooldowns for certain melee abilities overall. I don't see the reason why I have to wait so long for a throwing knive that deals less damage than any primary could deal in the time of the animation.

4 RespuestasLiterally EVERY hunter subclass feels underwhelming. Thank god the blade barrage super is so good because it balances out the complete lack of neutral game. It’s because hunters are so underwhelming that I’ve completely switched to playing titan and warlock for now. Don’t have to sweat nearly as hard and i do better. They def need some work

3 RespuestasTwo body shots from a 140 Handcannon. Throw the knife. You're welcome.
This IS strong. The reason why is that you have a vastly more forgiving ttk than regular 140's. 140's have to land 100% crits for an optimal ttk when you don't?? That's a win in my book. Obviously Mori Ace is above this, not requiring 100% crits. But I'd say it puts you on par with a Mori due to the fact that both of you don't need to be super precise.
3 RespuestasA throwing knife headshot shouldn't ohk but it should quite literally put the enemy on life support. A handcannon body shot followed up by a throwing knife headshot should be able to kill. It should be between 160 - 180 (For knife juggler).
-
3 RespuestasAnother case of learn how to play. The game doesn't need a change your strategy does. Grenades don't kill on single hit why should knives. It's a finisher. You throw it at a damaged target for quick finish.
-
Imagine how much more useful the melee would be with a buff to its cast time or the ability to use its charge at close range instead of a normal melee. Its ability to add real damage to an encounter is just bad as is.

1 Respuesta*Throws knife at strike boss* Ha! that’ll stop them!

1 RespuestaMost of the time I don't even use the throwing knife; it is so weak in both PvE and PvP, I don't even bother.

8 RespuestasHunters are the only class that can’t OHK outside of a super. Hey never should have changed how it did damage from D1
-
4 RespuestasI don’t main hunters but I always felt throwing knife should one shot, now that warlocks have a one hit kill chargeable grenade and titans have shoulder spam, I think its only fair to give hunters the ability to one shot with throwing knife. You know what else needs to one shot? Tethers, those things should at least one shot players with 6 and below resilience. Obviously tethers should not one shot players in super but I don’t see the harm of the arrows one shotting non super players

5 RespuestasIMO it should increase weapon damage on precision hit (enough to make any weapon a single headshot kill after throwing knife) and grant primary weapons Quickdraw.
-
4 Respuestas150 would be fine. If it's a crispy headshot, it should hurt a whole lot more.
-
Throwing knife requires a great deal of concentration for very little reward. I love Way of the Sharpshooter but its just trash compared to other sub-classes these days. Landing critical hits with throwing knife is one of the most frustration things in this game IMO. Outside of the new Gunslinger subclass 'way of a thousand cuts' the other two need some serious developer attention.
-
1 RespuestaThrowing knives should be 1 hit kills on precision like D1
-
2 RespuestasStill think the only way Throwing Knives can be buffed is to have increasing damage based on DISTANCE the knife is thrown. That way you can't spam knives over a mere 10 meters for OHKs. But, if you do throw a really risky, predicted throwing knife and kill someone at around 40-50 meters... you'll get a OHK.

2 RespuestasFor those of u that don't realize this bungie isn't ever gonna buff throwing knife because if they did it'd be OP on PC

1 RespuestaEditado por Reshsafari: 10/15/2018 8:40:07 PMThe burn knife is the only one worth using. But lacks range. Buff knives. They need 150+ damage. I don’t ever touch the precision class because of how garbage the super is. The shit accuracy and damage of the precision knife is the icing on the cake. Th GG Literally feels like shooting the first curse. Not at all a ‘cross map super’ if you’ve actually used it even though it’s a precision class.

13 RespuestasNO a headshot with a throwing knife should be a OHK. titans have shoulder charge (on all sub classes) - risk of rushing in warlocks have hand held nova - little to no risk in using and its ranged hunters need a OHK throwing knife - it would be the only one that takes actual skill.
-
1 RespuestaThrowing knife definitely needs a buff, and maybe even allow it to be picked up like us Titans can. I only say maybe because I don't use it myself, and have no idea if the reason we can pick it back up is because it's terrible.

5 RespuestasI feel they should be a 1 hit kill to the head
