Because it's a video game. The whole point is to play, advance, and EARN kool loot. Paying someone else to play is a punk thing to do. Having someone who is a higher skill than you, take control of your guardian, allows them to take advantage of people below their actual skill. Hurting their opportunity to unlock the very same loot, you are trying to get.
Bad move man :(

He’s EARNED the money, he can do what he wants with it
-
But "have someone else do this for you" isn't an in-game option or one respected by the ToS. Or do you think I should be able to bust open cheat engine and give myself infinite HP and 100% drop rate, too?
-
Thank you
-
True. He can totally pay someone to play the video game he already paid for. But that doesn't make him any less of a punk, imo. So he's stuck at 900 glory. Someone with 5500 glory then plays on his toon, against others in the 900 to 1000 glory range. It's kind of like a straight A grade student, taking a college acceptance exam for a straight D grade student. Is that fair, or cheating in your opinion??
-
That’s not really a fair comparison, considering college actually matters, and this is a video game.

Editado por SorrowW0lf: 10/14/2018 11:22:56 PMOk, how about this? Would you be ok with him paying money to a hacker/coder, to crack open his console, or change in game code, to let him simply pull the Luna out of his collection tab? See what I'm trying to say? People get all riled up about microtransactions, all the time. Complaining about people being able to pay to win. This is exactly what doing a account recovery, or paying someone to play in your place, is imo. And if you are ok with that, fine. But I consider it cheating, regardless of being a virtual world in a video game. And those that cheat in multiplayer video games, are punks, imo.

Damn, I thought the point of a game was to have fun. 🤷♂️
-
The point I was trying to make is that the purpose of a game is to have fun, not grind for endless hours at a second job waiting for RNG to “earn” your rewards, unless you are a masochist that finds slamming your head against a wall fun. If paying someone to get you Luna’s means you get to have more fun, by all means punch in that card. At the end of the day it doesn’t make a difference as long as you are enjoying yourself.
-
At this point I’m honestly surprised Bungie hasn’t taken an Ubisoft approach and offered some way to just buy things like Luna’s Howl or Redrix’s for cash.
-
I'm having fun. People have fun watching sports teams on TV. How do you know I'm not having fun watching my glory rank increase?
-
I don't see the fun in paying $400-$500 to some kid to unlock a virtual gun for me.
-
Wow that's expensive! Kids in my street only charge £5 for each lawn mowed!
-
Unless you have a friend that recovs you then Luna's doesn't cost that much. All I'm simply saying is the rate to unlock a Luna's with a recov is $400-$500.
-
Wow that's alot of money, I could get my dog walked so many times for that!
-
I can imagine.
