So a shader, emblem, and some consumables are worth $20-$30? Can I just get the season pass for free instead?

I see the issue but, I was willing to pay the price to obtain the items when they came out and would have regardless of the bonus we may or may not have had. The money is gone and its good entertainment. It does feel a bit bad that we get a shader, emblem and a couple emotes for the difference in price and I think alot has to do with poor marketing from Bungie on what the Pass was and the seasons and the whatever else they have going on.. its convoluted. They need it to be simpler. The other side is that we did pay full price, the game is in a good place and there are issues with the pvp servers among many other things.. how is adding more players going to make things better unless you are in the camp that new players become fodder in pvp that helps the vets progress which is likely a bad idea. Further, if I paid full price and someone gets the same content I paid for for significantly less, 6 weeks in..... kind of a problem. It doesn't matter that we are getting some free electronic crap as compensation. got a foot in each catagory here.. hard to take a side.. I will just keep playing.. but, its concerning that bungie would pull something like this.

Editado por koolkong94: 10/12/2018 11:46:32 AMIt's a big middle finger to anybody who purchased Forsaken in the last week, but most of the people complaining bought Forsaken at launch or close to it. A month of early access is worth $20. Smaller games charge $25 for 2 weeks. Or even worse. "Veteran" players who bought all the DLCs at launch. Anybody who thinks the price difference isn't worth almost a year of early access to Curse and over 5 months of early access to Warmind is a lunatic and an entitled brat. EDIT: And to be honest. Most other games wouldn't even bother trying to appease early adapters with these "Veteran" rewards, because their playerbases are smart enough to know what I'm saying without having to have it explained to them. So be happy you're getting anything at all.

I am one of those that bought the first 2 expansions right as Forsaken launched. Being forced to buy garbage DLC was hard enough, but to find out they are giving it out for free just a month after release is -blam!-ed. No CoO and Warmind are not worth "Early Access" (I understand capitalism just fine, its the moral compass or lack thereof that irritates me) and I never willingly buy early access. They should have done this from the beginning with Forsaken.

Editado por koolkong94: 10/12/2018 1:14:14 PMI agree. With most of what you're saying. What I don't agree with is people who just buy shit as soon as it becomes available and then bitch later when it's cheaper. Prices get cut. It happens. Get over it

You do see the difference between price cuts and "free" right?
-
Let me break it down for you. Before: -Forsaken standalone purchase: $40 -Forsaken with Y1 pass: $60 After: -Forsaken standalone purchase: $40, or not available. -Forsaken with Y1 pass: $40 Where's the free?

There isn't, I clicked reply on another post. I'm on the dumb d2 app, if it decides to load there are still problems. Told me my account was suspended/ removed a couple of times when I post, after a refresh all is good...

Which is why I waited until the absolute last second before Forsaken released hoping for a bundle deal with the previous expansions. PSN had them on sale the weekend before Forsaken dropped and I figured that was my best option. Yes I could have waited after Forsaken released, but we all know how elitist this community is. Fall just a bees dick behind and no one wants anything to do with you. Oh well, rant over. Thanks for the other point of view.

Well, I bought Destiny 2 + Y1 Season Pass a week after launch. I hate Osiris for obvious reasons and love Warmind. And I preordered Forsaken and Y2 season pass and the only thing that bothers me is "Why desember?". I want my coin and knife emotions after 16th of October.=) The point is I bought D2 Y1 to play it and I got so much cool days in warmind and D2 original, and got twice cool times in Forsaken. And now I got special bonus of emotes and shader (i don't like emblem). Why complain? oo More new players to Forsaken after October 16th is a good thing too.

LOL, you call buying something when it is released early access? I don't expect any veteran rewards. I expect older content to not be completely negated and left to rot. This is definitely Forsaken now. Older content is worthless. I can't wait until they charge 20 bucks to up the difficulty in old raids. Oh you want the content already in this game to matter again? That's 20 bucks for a weekly rotational raid.

Please don't give them any ideas. As for the early access comment, it's the easiest way to explain price cuts to kids barely out of high school that don't understand capitalism yet.
