Blind Well matchmaking
So Bungie wants us to play all the activities. How bout making sure there are randoms where we can't control like Blind Well. 3x in a row I'm playing solo and no one at the Well, rinse repeat and still the same garbage. Matchmake these events or make sure there are people on the damn servers!!! Frustrated trying to play this damn game with all its annoying issues. You know what I'm talking bout. I'm done venting, your turn. What is irking you right now?

Our group is finding it a lot easier with Blind Well than that EP cluster. Typically I'm finding if I go in and wait a few minutes others start to show up. If not, I reload the instance. What would be helpful is if the map had a HOVER OVER option that showed how many people were waiting at the BW in your instance. I know it shows flashing if it's active but an indicator of people waiting in there would be great too.

Once you hit 560 all you need is 3 other people. Just hop in activate a teir 1 and randoms will show up.

The real problem with Blind Well is that it takes nearly 5 f*cking miniutes for the well to reset so you can put in another one. Once I even had the well never get ready. Waited a few minutes, me a bunch of blues gathered around, nothing allowed us to put in a charge. Seriously, the most aggrivating thing ever. It's a wonder the Court of Oryx even worked at all when it was first conceived.

I had a lot of problems, not using my sparrow has matched me with at least 2 other people 100% of the time since I started doing it 3 weeks ago.

6 RespuestasI would rather have EP MM than BW -- why not both though, right? BW is only good for your first heroic clear and then it's pretty much useless after. They really needed to give it weapons and armor to chase.

1 RespuestaJust go into the Well and put in a Tier 1. It will cram people into your lobby. This has worked for me almost every time I've done it. The amount of time it takes may very from it being instant to maybe about half way through the charge.

Never had issues with Well. If no one about, fast travel & walk, not sparrow, and always at least 2 Guardians.

Sometimes I have to fast travel and re-enter two or three times, but I always find people. And usually I can even find people who will join a party and invite more of my clan mates. We run 6 to 9 person Blind Wells frequently. Solo randoms win because they get help with T3s and T4s and we win because we get Blind Well completions as a clan.

Back to orbit and reentry to the zone work for me when I'm in a dead instance, ran some T2s right through to T4s with rando soloists last night easily knocked off the weekly and then some within around an hour before the numbers started leaving, some of the most fun I've had since Forsaken dropped tbh.

Haven't had that issue... always enough to run Tier 2 and the other night I did 2 Tier 3 back to back.... and yes, I was playing solo.

I haven't had this problem. Usually get a good instance by the third try and regularly on the first go.

Just use LFG my dude. I do that every week and heroic blind well every week.

Before matchmaking I would rather see a reward for blindwell like guns or armor not just a bounty feels pointless to do it for more reverie dawn drops since everything in dreaming city drops that same gear

I would ignore the slow walking, no sparrow crap. You just have to come and go a few times then you will get a group. I always find a group to do Tier III and unstable after 30 min at the very most. And in the meantime I just leave and do other weekly petra crap and then just come back. I agree they could do a better job of instancing it with other people, but there isn't really a need for formal matchmaking as with randoms I haven't had any problems beating it once I got my light level up enough.

5 RespuestasYou gotta walk from the bottom of the first set of stairs all the way to the well. Walk, not run. And definitely don’t sparrow in. Their matchmaking works in the background while journeying into the well, if you go too quickly it will just dump you into an empty lobby.

I’ve been in a fireteam of 3 and we disband and all separately load into the Dreaming City and individually head to the well. One of us always finds an event with multiple players. Two Tier 4 runs later and we are done.
