You can't find exotics that aren't dropping. It is playing the game to buy it from Xur. You have to log on and go to him, that's playing the game. Xur is supposed to bring exotics every week that you can buy if your luck is just terrible on a gun/armor piece you want. I personally HAVE been playing the game and have found NO Exotics. Xur would be welcome.

Sorry, xur just takes the fun out of playing, I have one forsaken exotic and I’m cool with that, and when it dropped it was awesome, much better than buying it from xur. Xur is not a fix, sorry.
