I completed the weekly flashpoint in mercury using public events without completing the Curse of Osiris story. I was told to return to Brother Vance to claim the powerful gear reward but I decided to complete the Curse of Osiris story first. When I finished the Omega mission, I was given the quest step "Mercury Adventures Available" and I was told to Brother Vance at the Lighthouse. I visited Brother Vance but he's neither giving me the powerful gear nor unlocking the quest. I'm doubly screwed now because I can't do the daily challenge in Mercury which is aptly named "Bug in the System (heroic)". Help!
