Anthem is pretty much EAs last chance. After the Mass Effect Andromeda boat of fail and the Lootbox Watergate they can't afford to -blam!- up anymore.

They got Madden and Battlefield. Far different demographic from here and those games routinely sell well. BioWare though has a lot to prove to me. The same way the Halo kids grew up on Bungie’s teet I grew up playing Baldur’s gate in high school and BioWare made one of my favorite games that no one talks about which is Jade Empire. I totally get the negative opinions on Destiny but I don’t think the game is in a bad place. I think the issue has less to do with the amount of content and more to do with what people’s preferences are when it comes to consuming content. I’m a busy guy. So I tend to play a few hours a day after work. Due to schedule sometimes the only thing you can do is game which has been something I’ve done since 84 when I was 3 and they put an Atari 2600 controller in my hands and I played pole position 2 for the first time. I was hooked from that moment. There has never been a moment in my life where I didn’t t actively play a console. I burned out our D1 to the point where I didn’t touch it after 3 months after the Alpha. Took TTK to get me back on and a console switch to get me playing regularly again. Was playing a lot of Dark Souls at that point. Due to a shift in my job I’ve limited my gaming to not do the same thing. It’s actually made Destiny enjoyable since I’m not actively leveling 3 characters at the same time and just working on one and setting my build(yes it’s a thing). If Anthem turns out good, awesome. I hope it does. BioWare helped me thru a lot of stuff when I was way younger so I want them to do well. Management has changed because frankly who wants to work the same job forever. Hell, who wants to work forever. Given the means I wouldn’t work either. I just wish more people accepted the fact that no matter which title you prefer, there is nothing wrong with playing more than one game at a time. I keep a current file on my PS4 with 6 games I play fairly often and I’ve been playing Absolver and Destiny on rotation for the past couple months. Just saying something is going to die because of something else is pointless. Most of the games people buy are done in 20 hours and only a small subset of the masses are completionist to the point where they play a game past the ending. Destiny ain’t going anywhere. Service games that make it past the 2 year mark are fairly easy to maintain a player count of the casuals. Who are not on these boards so their opinions are never heard or even brought up. It’s always just skewed hearsay. Sorry for the rant. Just had to word that right.

They also never said it would ever be added...from the interviews ive read they more then likely wont be adding it. Yeah i did see where they said at launch but they also implied it prolly wont be added at all...i hope to god they dont as it would just ruin it. The game would be perfectly fine without it. I want legendary powerful gear to remain just that..look what its done to the gear and weapons in this game. But well see..i also like the fact you can play with friends no matter the lvl difference, end game another matter. In the end well see but i definitely cant wait for it. It cant be worse then what destiny is.
