give amanda holiday a purpose
first off i would just like to hope someone at bungie reads this and make it happen and also if fellow people in the destiny community support this. at the moment amanda is in her own little island in the hangar doing nothing no one needs to visit her for anything or buy anything from her because eververse is doing her job selling sparrows and ships so what is the point in having amanda at all. the reason i am making this post is because bungie promised to listen to the community more value their feedback and are open to suggestions to improve the game. my suggestion is to give amanda a weekly milestone to do for more powerful gear aswell as bounties and a reputation to work on like what players do now in crucible and gambit. anyone who played destiny 1 will know what i am talking about here and its called sparrow race league. for me sparrow racing was none stressful fun racing around each planet against other players getting new sparrows to race with and working on the challenges to get new armour and sparrows. i think this would be a lovely improvement to destiny 2 giving amanda holiday a purpose in the tower rather than ignoring her in the hanger. give her bounties weekly milestones exotic sparrows and ships to unlock aswell as sparrow horns and bringing back a fun old game type that people can enjoy. if anyone feels the same way feel free to support this post and hopefully one day it will happen thank you and please share this with your friends and clan

She’s going to have a purpose in the upcoming Festival of the Lost. She is going to be the vendor for that event. I do wish they could add more to her though. I wish it were possible to get some more extensive lore on other characters, such as Ikora, Rahool, and all the faction leaders. I would love to see some animated short or a mission about Amanda’s past, but that prolly just me tho 🙃

2 RespuestasShe certainly does need a purpose again.. She had a bit more purpose in D1.. but now she is kind of useless. She needs: -To sell sparrows, exotic sparrows -To sell ships, exotic ships -Sell mods for said ships and sparrows -Offer bounties for her own rep, and/or sparrows and ships -Offer mods for mod-able sparrows and ships -Offer transmats for ships Eververse really does not need to sell ships or sparrows when Amanda is the one who is supposed to do that.. Amanda is the shipwright of the tower, not Tess the little bungie cash cow. And those are just a few ideas of what Amanda could offer and do concerning ships and sparrows.. She could also offer mods to turn sparrows into tumbler sparrows again, offer horns once bungie pulls the stick out of their ass and return sparrow horns to the game.

Good news, they gave Amanda a temporary purpose, she will be hosting Festival of The Lost and is giving out bounties for the new activity to grab some new neat rewards.

4 RespuestasAmanda can sell sparrow mods.. 1. maybe something to reroll our sparrow abilities 2. how about different booster trails 3. something to upgrade speed cause lets be honest, NOBODY uses a 150 sparrow! also, she can sell weekly ships mods.. 1. transmat effects 2. different ships

What are you talking about? She can turn 3 rare transmat effects you don’t want into one legendary transmat effect you don’t want. No one else can do less. [spoiler]ok Xur is equally worthless[/spoiler]

There are a lot of NPCs that really new more things to do. I feel Banshee needs more because after the ace of spades what else is there? Amanda is in the hanger and since Cayde is gone...there really is no reason to go there. Even Ikora has minimal purpose.

Her and Xur can start a muffin store next to the noodle shop . The way Bungie writes it’s probably a better idea then anyone there has ever had . Also every vendor in this game is worthless , pointless and boring .
