After playing about 10 or so crucible matches, it's painfully obvious that the only things that actually kill people are supers. I find it absolutely absurd, that idiots who position themselves so poorly as to be in the middle of the entire team without an escape route get forgiveness with a panic button combo that allows them to unless fury beyond that of any weaponry available. The current supers in-game are excuses for bad players to be given a chance to win without putting in any real work or skill. Its annoying when ive positioned myself in the right way and im ready to gun someone down and they turn around and attempt to titan slam me 8 times. There are an immense amount of ways to fix this; 1. Drain super energy 2x as fast, except for supers like golden gun where you have a certain amount of shots. I actually like fighting golden gun since it actually takes some amounts of skill to use properly. 2. Decrease their health. 3. Decrease super damage 4. Decrease super charge so you can get 1 per round or 2 if you have like 30 kills. Supers should be a reward, not a given. 5. Lower time to kill so weapons feel more viable. 6. Decrease range of certain supers so they require more skill, especially arc supers, they're all annoying. 7. Remove orbs of light. Other players shouldnt be rewarded because their teammate did something. Unless its like the old multikill masterwork perk. And to any neckbeard out there who says "well you shouldn't position yourself so you can get killed by a super" because they're is always that one guy; Supers kill anyone in an area or in an area of impact. Theres no super safe space, your only option is to run for your life, unless its blade dancer you succumb to your defeat. Running shouldn't be a viable strategy, thats utterly ridiculous. If your only method of killing is using some stupid ability that takes you from a .02 KD straight up to 50.0 you probably dont deserve the kills anyway. I dont find crucible fun because of this reason, whereas Destiny 1 crucible was great. Clumps of players spamming R2 is not fun. Never has. Never will. Im sick of having to play these stupid super mash up gangbangs so I can get a stupid 1 or 2 light increase. Work does not equal outcome, unless youre spamming supers of course then you've far exceeded whats equal.
