Partly agree with you, except that sleeper should remove from gambit completely, or you lost all heavy ammo when you invading.

i think it should be the person invading cant use a heavy weapon, and they should also lose the overshield, but get a small buff to kinetic weapons in return

Solution to this? Only bring exactly three guns with you. Ever been in a prestige raid and needed a kinetic sidearm but you didn’t have one so you couldn’t run the raid? The same thing will happen for gambit. The work around here is players would only bring the weapons they have equipped, and they wouldn’t be able to switch off of them. This is a stupid idea. Learn how to take cover. It’s really not that difficult.

Or give everyone max Power ammo at the beginning of each match and the only way to replenish a portion of that is by picking up the ammo off the wall.
