Great advice but I would rather just play the game.
Until you reach 600 then you have no real reason to infuse the gear, unless you find some outstanding roll that you just can’t do without.
I infuse my ace of spades, Orpheus rigs and the claws.
Everything else will just put on the highest item or infuse for glimmer.
At least then I can pick and choose when I don’t have to worry about levelling up.

You do you man. This was geared toward the people wanting to infuse who aren't able to do that.

Because bungie said I could play my way. Because I -blam!-ing can. Because I don't like running double sidearms or SMGs. Because I shouldn't have to decide whether to infuse or not, I should get to infuse without worrying about cost or materials.

Maybe some of us would like to use our good or fun gear during the long, long grind to 600? That'd be nice. Also a lot of specific equipment is necessary to have any chance in gambit or the crucible.
