“KWTD OR BE KICKED”
So I’ve been trying to run the raid for days and days but my only problem is since I don’t know every in and out I can’t raid because everyone is wanting crazy demands like “be 590+” or “have emblem with 10+ completions” it’s actually ridiculous for players who don’t no life this game
So what are your thoughts on this whole KWTD or be kicked meta on the app?

The Elitist no life raiding community has been catered to by their friends at Bunghoe....... My raiding time is over and after I get the whisper I done with Destiny also. The loot drops and economy cater to no-lifes...

They were long, tanky, against overwhelming odds at times, and even had puzzles. Raids can be compared to the movies as such: A good raid is about 2 hours, an epic one is about 3 or more. Unfortunately after "The Dark Below", Crota's end was reduced to 30 minutes (sitcom length) and rewarded high level gear. This made many people lazy. Then when raid mechanics and duration was lengthened, combined with multiple failures from unskilled people used to the ease of Crota's End, gamers became a bit lean on patience. Everyone wants quick runs without having to sherpa anyone. Bungie has been trying to outdo themselves each time by making raids longer with more ridiculous mechanics since then, but people haven't let go of the notion that starting a raid, if it's a good to epic raid, should take time. The other issue Bungie has created is the fact that they are trying to remove the ability for that 1% of the community that likes to either solo end game activity or 2 to 3 man what was built for 6. So they introduce things that force all 6 to be alive and participating - or the wipe mechanic causes failure. Example: all 6 plates have to be stood on to activate the door / one person carries X object while 5 people stand in special locations dropping a shield / etc. So now everyone needs to participate and taking the time to teach people things is a burden that the lazy gamer doesn't want to do. There are those of us out there who are sherpa's, but we need time to get everything down to a fluid motion so we can guide the newbies to success. [spoiler]Oh, and for the record, I never post KWTD or MUST BE XX LIGHT with Emblem. Hate that crap. As long as people listen, participate, and don't expect a carry without effort, that's all I need.[/spoiler]

The reason people say get a clan is because most of the time random teams don’t want to teach you YOU NEED to find a teaching group it’s not about making the community better. It’s about the issue of you need to be taught. Find a teacher or find a clan or find friends. My clans actively runs and teaches our mates

I’m sorry I don’t want to have a hinderance such as yourself in a raid. Here’s how you fix your problem. Find a team that will teach you... problem solved. I know it’s hard but if you don’t want to put in the work, you obviously don’t care enough to beat the raid.

I think knowing what to do or be kicked is ok. This is because not everyone has 4 hours to teach someone how to do something and most people want a quick completion. And learning what I do is really easy. Just watch a video on what to do then solidify that knowledge on the first or second run of said encounter

No group should be obligated to carry a low level noob. If it's your duty to Sherpa noobies, then good on you. But for everyone else with lives like myself, I just want to get stuff done. My time is just as valuable as anyone else's.

Plenty of YouTube videos on how to do the raids. Watch those and start your own group.

3 RespuestasThat's honestly why I don't like raiding anymore the KWTD or be kicked with the annoying requirements have gone up in D2. It is harder to teach people D2 raids because it goes step 1-40 for 1 encounter. In D1 it was just stand here shoot if your not comfortable learning how to be a runner/shieldbearer/Oracle killer/Buff holder/Sword wielder/Holding Gaze. I miss having the only kill adds role because even though those people didn't do much they were at least in the raid environment and could passively learn what to do through experience and try out the more complex roles for future groups.

It’s fine, people who are building their own fireteams are free to make whatever requirements they want. I’d be opposed to forcing people to play with other people. So if you don’t see an appropriate group for yourself just make your own post.

3 RespuestasPeople are saying that because that's how it will always be. People are allowed to ask for whatever they want. Some people don't mind helping, but most will post for what they believe will make their run the most efficient.

1 RespuestaSome people, myself included, only find fun when everything goes smoothly and as planned from the get go. Any fúck ups, any at all, and it stops being fun instantly. That's why they set high requirements. Because they want a SMOOTH raid experience.

i mean some of us are trying to beat these raids relatively quick. we don't wanna take 3 hours to beat one encounter

Not sure what you're using for LFG, but the100.io is great for setting up games (if you're like myself and like setting stuff up in advance). The raid groups I've seen usually fill up quick

With joining a clan they get help and can get a lot of questions answered minus the snark when they need it. Make your own team, joining a clan is about solving your own problems within the game. If you rely on the generosity of the "community" at large you're going to be disappointed more times than not by the occasional jerk that you will occasionally come across. It only takes one bad player to taint the experience and have people call the entire community toxic. That's just the nature of how people work, they see negative behaviours exhibited by a minority and tars the rest of the community with being negative.

4 RespuestasIf i were to lfg the Raid, id ignore all those "be this, know that, have these" because, if those guys were that good, theyd have a dedicated crew and wouldnt need to lfg.
