The point is that the grind should be realistic based on the majority of people not exclusive to people who make a living as streamers or who don't work and have un-realistic time to grind items. If exotics are hard to get then duplicate protection needs to be in place (agreed by Bungie now finally). If random rolls exist on items then there needs to be a good spread of items dropping not just a lot of edge transits etc. etc. At the moment the grind is a waste or people's time and no-one not even Bungie are disagreeing with that! It's telling that the only people at or close to 600 are the streamers and hardcore player base. This overly hardcore grind is what ruined the world's first race where the teams that finished actually cheated to get to high enough power to even attempt worlds first! They all used the engram exploit bug to artificially boost levels. If you don't know. The bug is that NOT picking up a prime engram when it drops causes it to not get ticked off from your currently allotted prime engram drop counter. It will give you a negative counter when you finally cash in but, this is also I suspect a bug that just happens to balance out the exploit. Normally counters would not be able to go negative.
