Wow you actually have to grind in a game. The gun won’t be available for casuals and people who don’t put in time. I got it too spawn so I’m happy :)

So I played for about 16-20 hours this weekend and didn't see the boss. This makes me a "casual"? Please elaborate
-
your trash kill yourself
-
LOL casual
-
-
I play like 8 hours a week maximum and I managed to get the quest to drop so....?
-
Are you -blam!-? Grind? It’s rng? You can be a casual and get the boss to spawn.
-
People have already been trying to get the boss spawned for a week.
-
A whole entire week? What? That is way to long to try to get something. LOL....kids.
-
You are just mad i am right kid.
-
What? I am not mad at all. I find it funny that one whole week is unacceptable. All the same complaints about the whisper when it released and look now. Tons have it and not more complaining. Carry on crying about it.
-
Whisper was a 100% droprate. This quest has a 1% chance to spawn the enemy. And it does not guarentee a quest drop.
-
100%? There were people waiting hours and hour and hours and hours and hours blight event to spawn. i personally waited 4 hours one day and gave up. Then there were people who waited hours and hours only to fail and have to wait hours and hour and hours again to try it again. Stop acting like the whisper was not similar. I am not saying they can't tweak it a bit but they shoudn't dumb it down to much.
-
Whisper mission dropped it 100% Gambit spawns the enemy in less than 1% and it has less than a 30% chance to drop an item that starts the questline for an exotic.
-
Where are you getting your 1% and 30% numbers? Link? So you are saying that out of 1,000 gambit matches it will only spawn 10 times? 10,000 matches 100 times. I would like to see that confirmed.
-
I and many others have done over 100 matches and had 0 spawn. Thats why. And i killed it 2 x and didnt get the quest item.
-
No way!! I just got him yesterday and I didn’t complain once. If you guys can’t grind a little then don’t get the gun. Pretty simple logic
-
A little? Its is RNG if he spawns. Then it is RNG if he isnt bugged. Then it is RNG if he drops the quest. And it is RNG if the enemy team doesnt leave if you get him after 80 hours of hambit.
-
Wait you expect the opposition to throw the game so you can get he quest? F-that, I'm playing to win.
-
J, what’s happening, more frequently than Bungie would like to say is this: Your team’s Prime is up and it’s the malfeasance boss, finally! So, obviously, your team is excited. Opposing team invaded, sees your prime is the malfeasance boss. Is salty bc they don’t have the quest yet or somebody emoted, etc... so, they pull their entire team to orbit. The game instantly is declared a win for your team when the entire opposing team leaves, your team however doesn’t get a chance to kill your malfeasance primeval. As the match instantly ended when opposing team left. Bad, bad, bad game mechanics, imho. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
-
Yeah, those teams are assholes. I realizes I read the original post wrong.
-
lol, yeah, I’ve now read the rest of the thread. Should have done that first! lol. My bad.
-
They LEAVE THE MATCH. As in go to orbit as soon as the enemy team gets the servitor.
-
No. He isn't expecting them to throw. When the servitor spawns there are asshole teams that leave so you win the match but don't get to kill the servitor. Which results in you not getting the quest.
-
Wow, that's a dick move. We actually quit invading, but still try to win.
-
The quest dropping isn't RNG The quest dropping requires you to be better than the opposite team. If you kill the boss and haven't got the quest, he will drop a seething heart guaranteed. Idiot.
