All milestones have moved me a total of 0 light. Bungie your reward system absolutely takes the piss!
I've done the Milestones and i got 4 energy weapons and 7 Titan marks.... I got a helmet from a prime engram then got a helmet from a milestone..... I did an Exotic quest and got the Chaperone.... Did a milestone and got a kinetic.... This is just absolutely fu**ing ridiculous!! Its like bungie have designed the system to completely piss you off. So many people are getting screwed by what is clearly a broken system and bungie are doing jack sh** about it as usual! Are you secretly actually TRION?
Edit.... Since posting this all the bounties and ranking up screwed me over as well... Even Prime Engrams.. Today My chest is 569.... Gambit bounty, 567 chest, Gambit rank up same 567 chest, Clan Engram 567 chest.... Prime Engram 569 chest...
I think bungie really need to compensate all of us that have been screwed over so badly like this... This is just infuriating!
Edit 2. For those of you who think I'm lying ive attached a video for proof.. Another energy weapon, and this is from a Prime Engram, thats +1 from a Prime Engram!

If you’re 565 and do a 500 activity for powerful gear, the gear probably won’t be too powerful compared to if you did a 580 activity like the raid. The video is a bad example, since you are only 565 it makes sense why you would get a 570 weapons, you’re just unlucky that it’s an energy weapon.

And now I'm really close to 565 with prime engrams everyday and everything but the scoring nightfall I have received upgrades with every milestone or thing I have done so I really don't understand what everybody's issues with leveling up is. Last week I was at 536 and now I am at 563 that's a massive jump with one reset. Oh yeah I haven't even touched the raid either.

2 RespuestasDaily milestones and a few weeklies only drop ONE above your current light level. Clan Engram, Petra Engram, and Spiders powerful bounty are literally the only things that grant +3 above your light. Half the time the drop is bugged and you don't get it or it's less than your light level. We've been playing Destiny for several years - we understand what RNG is... But when you have 5 viable drops A WEEK... Those drops don't get to be bad otherwise you wasted your time doing a specific set of activities that is literally supposed to be a guaranteed high level drop, and that tends to piss people off. Go back to Y3 D1 style grind but decrease the drop rates a bit and you have a perfect game. Forsaken is great, bows are great, bows are life, new subclasses are IDK because the only good one on hunter is the knives so that's all i use. Simply move on from the milestone idea because it's been total crap since D2 launched. All you had to do was decrease the drop rates and the hardcore could have their grind long enough to max out 15 characters, and us filthy casuals could grind too but not have to jump through hoops to get something useless. It's like i'm a hamster in a wheel chasing the cheese, but when i catch the cheese they stab me in the ass with a fork and make me chase that same piece of cheese again... Also... your blasted Edge Transit has probably caused at least a few rage quits by now. Most received gun of all time in the history of games

7 RespuestasWeek 1, my titan hit 520. Moved weapons to warlock, got ALL guns, ended on 509. Moved guns to Hunter, same, all guns, ended 508. Promptly deleted the warlock and hunter, I'm not about that life. Now they lock quests to 580, 590 n needing full teams. I'm not about that life either. They're losing me really fast. Once BO4 drops I'm gone

There are 590-600 power players present in game, thats the evidence. So bad luck bro. But I agree with you and I find it all disappointing.. (( I am 546 now after after doing ~60% of "power gear" milestones since Forsaken launch.

And the same one from Gambit twice! One from the bounty and one from ranking up... Its just unreal what is the fu**ing point anymore.

3 RespuestasGo into leveled activities with less light equipped. For instance the orange spider bounty or daily heroic or a strike that recommends 540 light, begin the activity with 520 light and the new reward system will bump you up a few extra light. For example, I did the forsaken mission in the dreaming city last night. It asks for 540 light and I'm 543 but I put on gear that took me down to 512. It took forever but once I finished I got a shotgun to drop at 549 light, far and away above anything else I have! It's a major grind and very frustrating but glorious when you make it through!

In Bungies defense, there is a bug in which a lot of people are completing their milestones and the powerful gear isn’t dropping at the levels it should be. You probably are affected by that. It’s highly unfortunate. I’m in the same position. Did literally everything I possibly could and each drop was either at my current power level or one higher. I only progressed from 564-569 this week when in the past weeks, I’ve gone up 20-25 power levels. God I hope Bungie fixes this soon. I really don’t want another week of wasted grinding (or what feels like wasted)

3 RespuestasIm going to go out on a limb here and say your at 565 now. I mean at that LL you probably need to be Raiding, NF etc to advance up much from there I would think right? Otherwise maybe time to move on to your other characters. But I do see your point about the slow progression grind. Im still trying to get to 530 so I can continue the story in the Dreaming city.

I had several Iron Banner engrams drop loot that was 10 or so light level below what the -blam!-ing engram itself said it was.

Even my Prime Engrams are screwing me now, my last one was 571 and my next one was 569 and it gave me a chest which is already at 569! Ffs!

I am a little confused about powerful rewards? Last two weeks I have done these milestones 4 drops were at 500 when I was 515, now this week I just got one at 512 when I am 521? Am I missing something or doing something wrong? I mean some are good drops but if they will be below my current light I won’t waste my time.
