For the love of god, fix freaking shotguns. This is BS
This is complete and utter bs on the balance of people using shotguns in PvP. Getting one shotted from 50yds out with full health is complete crap. This is freaking dumb as shit. Every person is using a damn shotgun and only that. It takes no skill to use a shotgun. Anyone can close a gap and pull the trigger. Fix it Bungie.

You have to change your tactics. Try using Telesto and spray the ground near you so when they slide they do amazing death backflips instead.

1 RespuestaHonestly, the majority of the players that are defending shotguns are the players that can’t aim. It’s not hard to slide and blind shoot a direction and get a kill. These are the same players that wanted TTK to be lowered. Crucible on PC with a shotgun, you can easily get a kill at 15 yards. Even the biggest streamers on twitch are complaining about it. Hopefully bungie sees this post and fixes it.

The Get Good people are the people that just run as fast as they can to bare minimum Trade with their opponent. When you have full teams running ONLY shotguns and running head first into opposing teams just to use their shotgun, there is a problem. People are not even trying to mid to long range fight in half of the games. Shotguns take skill? The only skill it takes it running head first into someone and pressing the Bang Button or hiding around a corner like an oldschool camper. LoL I have never used them in this except for the Acrius, and it was such cake to get the quest completed for The Chaperone.

I get killed more by pulse/scout rifles and subs than shotguns, because I try and avoid getting up super close with people, sticking to medium range engagements as much as possible. Shotgunners can only get you if they come around a corner or you have terrible aim and can't hit them as they rush/slide at you (which has uh... totally never happened to me because I have "amazing" aim....).

Use shotguns or fusions too. Sidearms are also super effective.

3 RespuestasShotguns take time to learn how to counter them, but they're fine as they are now. The only issue I have against them is full-auto. A shotgunner who missed his first shot should be punished, not rewarded with 5+ extra shots.

1 RespuestaShotguns are fine imo. Fusion rifles need buffs. For the love of God they are inconsistent. I took my main ingredient into competitive and it couldn't kill a titan in its range. All the bolts hit but didn't even take his shields down. He was well within range.

Nope. They're fine as is. Bungie listening to whine posts from scrubs like you is what ruined this game. They've learned their lesson I hope. Get good or get out. And BTW, going in IB as a 505 is also prolly not a good idea if you don't want to be one-shot killed by anything in the energy slot.

Seriously, have you tried a sidearm, back peddling? Grenades? Smokebombs? Dodging? Jumping out the way? Seriously, its not that big an issue. Its only a noob crusher. This post is a whine fest of players who dont know how to counter shotguns, and it consistently gets made everytime someone new gets killed by them. They dont need a nerf, hell theyre inconsistent as hell.

Honestly, I just do what I did in D1: 1. Minimal effort to win 2. Eye roll 3. Delete all shotguns 4. Hold dim view of people who use them. 5. Wish crucible had a block option to avoid playing with people 6. Repeat cycle in next round It was this or buy a new window and/or controller

Theyre fixing this in the patch next week. The $20 one they posted on TWAB about. Supposed to add a solo playlist and nerf hunters
