Pretty sure the quest reward is a powerful reward. That makes it great because you can do the quest multiple times only grabbing the 2nd and 3rd weapons when they’d be a kinetic or energy upgrade.

Hey guys I need an energy powerful drop ASAP. Ok let me go do this Luna quest. See you in a few weeks.
-
Takes maybe 4 days if you don’t grind that hard. 2 if you do.
-
No one is doing that home boy. Try again. “Hey guys let me no life this energy power bc clockwork said I can do it in 4 days or 2 if I go in hard”

Once you’ve hit 2100 at any point you can lose every game and still get it.
-
“Once you hit 2100 and lose every game you’ll still get it” is this true??
“Once you hit 2100 and lose every game you’ll still get it” is this true??
Yes I’ve done the quest twice and helped two friends who had trouble hitting 2100 and they were able to get it just fine

Big question. If you get to Legend before you get the 500 kills, will the same work for Not Forgotten?
-
-
Good to know. Trying to play a CQ game with the Luna’s in some of the modes is quite difficult. Though it absolutely wrecks within intended range. I’ll hit legend before I get anywhere near 500 and would kill me self to slog back to legend again. If you reset; i assume it would register as “reach legend rank” as well. Good to know and thanks.
-
The reset was removed when matchmaking became rank based.
-
Ok thanks. Wanna help me ;)
-
Not really my thing anymore, you’ve got this
-
I got this :)
-
Wait. You don’t need to be above 2100 when you acquire the gun? And Are you saying you can do entire quest in 13 matches?
-
Hitting 2100 is like unlocking the rank. Once you get 2100 during the season you could be 0 glory when you finish the quest and still get the gun. In my experience the headshot hc kills is the longest part so I always end up working on that step last. If you’ve already hit 2100, as soon as you finish hc kills you can go to shaxx. So no you can’t complete it in less than 50 games really, but it’s much easier than getting the Claymore.
-
Arguably easier than the claymore. I’m on HC precision now and I’ve soloed pretty much all of it. Good to know about 2100. Seems kinda weird, if even true, but I guess we’ll see. Regardless, no ones doing this multiple times for the power drop or cores lol
-
Once you’ve done it once there’s no need to win another game ever. So that makes the kills and match completions the only thing between you and getting the gun again. It’s definitely not the fastest way to get a drop but if you’re really getting stuffed by RNG and your highest energy is really low, this quest is the only way to guarantee a drop.
-
I’m 30% precision near 1800. I’m gonna squad up! I hope you’re right
-
No one is doing this nonsense multiple times.
-
Why not? It gives free masterwork cores and a high level drop. It only requires 450 kills and like 13 match completions.
