The lack of communication.
Our "community managers" drop into the forums once or twice a week and either post a link or a one sentence response to something.
Our "Help" copy and paste one of two responses: "clear your cache and try again" or "we're aware of the situation. Go read our post of know issues".
That's it. Nothing else. They'll make a post, or respond to someone else's post, get hundreds of replys, then just... radio silence. Never to return until the next weekly update.
There's no meaningful conversation, no back and forth. Just Bungie speaking to a full room then walking away.
We make posts of feedback, or problems, and we can go trending, we can get 100 replies and likes, but there's only a 1% chance we'll actually get a response from Bungie with only a 1% chance of it actually being useful. In all honesty we may as well not post at all.
A vocal minority complain about the Ace of Spades invader kills, a vocal minority complain about the Sleeper in Gambit, and they're both addressed in a week. 100% of the community complains, all day long, about Infusion Cores, and it's never even addressed. Not once.
Our "community managers" need to do more than their Milestones: a weekly repost of TWaB, and a twice weekly comment on a random post.
We, as a loyal, paying, community deserve more.

1 Respuesta1. Make a Twitter account 2. Follow Bungie 3. Follow Deej 4. Follow Dmg 5. Follow Cosmo 6. Follow Bungie Help You want updates? Communication? That’s where you will find it.

1 RespuestaTwitter and Reddit. Everyone posts on those. No one likes the forums because 90% of the people here are toxic
-
Forums are full of idiots. They usually post on Twitter or reddit as a result

3 RespuestasEditado por OriginalMrDave: 9/21/2018 3:55:21 PMI’m sorry but they literally do a weekly blog telling you exactly what’s occurring, what issues they know about and what they’re doing to sort them along with all sort of other info. I would also add that they are pretty active on Twitter along with the bungie account and the bungie help account particularly with major issues. It’s also worth remembering the community managers are human beings with sleep patterns and lives outside their work. If they were on here commenting away on every post bleating about tiny problems they’d never do anything else with their lives. Their job is, rather than being at the community’s every beck and call about every tiny detail, to canvas the opinion of the community at large and see what really needs passing to the dev teams. I would also hasten to add that I highly doubt that there are any game devs on here as players and we all have no clue about how much work goes in to making the tiniest adjustments in the game. If you really think they aren’t listening please try to remember what post launch D2 (or even D1) was like and you’ll see that they are quite obviously listening to the vast majority of what we say.

1 RespuestaThey’ve been much more talkative lately and I hope it keeps up. Posts like cozmo replying to a post asking why they nerf’d code of the commander, and about the seed of light. I’m also glad they’re keeping us in touch with sleeper. A lotta people are pissed off by the vagueness of cozmo’s reply but I think it’s just a spoiler free way of saying “be patient”. I know that’s asking a lot on these forums so the unnecessary backlash doesn’t surprise me.

3 RespuestasWhat's frustrating to me is that it seems that they don't understand what people like about destiny. It seems that every move they make they forget all of the other lessons they learned, so I sit here and think, how could they have -blam!-ed that up, and then I think: oh yeah coz they always do. Forsaken was decent at the start but the exotic drop combined with the boring milestone grinding is awful. The milestones are not simple enjoyable activities anymore. Most of them are tedious and not worth it because you already know the only value of doing them is light. An different you are like me and don't give a shit about light and only want to have the new and cool weapons, light is useless. And then they have Gambit which is something I've come to kinda despise having the worst drop rates I've seen in destiny. Why is it when I turn in three bounties and rank up they are all the same piece of armor or rocket? Not to mention the people in there are -blam!-ing lethal to be exposed to.

1 RespuestaAgree. I really don't get why they don't make an effort. Other games really communicate, well. Examples: sea of thieves, overwatch, the division, Star Wars bf2, monster hunter world. These are a few of,the games I have played. You may not like the games, but they always give a great effort to update and communicate. Bungie is by far the worst.

2 RespuestasI'm no longer loyal or paying. I have 0.004% faith that they will ever really get their shit together, they're still riding out the wave from the people who actually made a good game.
-
Best thing you can do is become more sour over the fact no one is listening

Stop being so needy.

1 RespuestaWell written however being a 7yr Bnet that’s not how Bungie operate. 1-you play Destiny the way Bungie wants you to play Destiny. 2-weapon nerfs or ability adjustments are made based on statistical data which frequently does not take into account the negative affect on PVE gameplay. 3-dialogue between Bungie Comm. Managers and the player base is discouraged internally to avoid setting false expectations or providing non factual information. 4-player feedback on issues or suggested improvements is discussed weekly. Major net code changes(ie removing MW cores from infusion) to existing game mechanics or QoL upgrades are only to be included with new DLC or Expansion offerings. FACTS.

yea i wish it was someones job to read the forums every day... ow wait

1 RespuestaBungie answer the fans . WHAAAAT ! Are you trying to bring about Armageddon ? Stick to possible requests like , the meaning of life or what the hell women are thinking .
-
How does the kitty go?

11 RespuestasIf I were Bungie employees, I wouldn't want to engage people on the forums either. Think about how they get treated.
-
Well the clear cache is a very valid response They want you to try it before posting
-
It's kinda like the loot cave , you shoot thousands of rounds into it , and gather hundreds of engrams , just to have them turn into blues . But one just one might turn into an exotic. Same with the communication it's how Bungie works even the forum is a fruitless grind some times!

I wouldn't want to be a community manager for this "community".

26 RespuestasLoyal customers? You've got 1 character lol.

You are absolutely right, the bungie has already arranged several things quickly, void titan, the glych of the telesto, the sleeper, the ace of spades...I do not agree on some of these changes, but they were done very quickly and at least in part they were wanted by the community. But as for the question of the core marterwork are 3/4 weeks that daily I see a discussion arose against them that reaches more than 500 upvote and bungie has never deigned to answer only one of these tread, even with the their -blam!-ing "we are lissening" I also commented in the same way this discussion that spoke of this problem https://www.bungie.net/it/Forums/Post/248710742?sort=0&page=0

They don't converse with us here. We would have to use Reddit or Twitter if we wanted to get really responses. There's what, 2, 3 community managers now? Assign one to each area. Easy peasy.
-
100% agree
-
Give them a chance, man - crack don’t smoke itself yadig?
-
Communication has been better than ever before... We are getting fast hotfix and response to issues that come up almost immediately. Sure there will always be things to work on, but Bungie is moving in the right direction with this approach.

2 RespuestasI'm sorry that three people don't have enough time to have a one on one with over a million registered players.

This is one of the main reasons I stopped playing for months
