Sleeper really Bungie?
So in D1 we had a ton of exotics that were awesome and fun. Ghorn, truth, Last word, Thorn, Sleeper, and Black Spindle to name a few, and those are just weapons. D2 launch I am hard pressed to name one that was comparable to any of those. In fact D2 exotics were so bad you had to make catalysts to make them better and some you outright gave them new perks. So now we have a couple of exotics that are good and you are going to nerf Sleeper.
Why, because people don't know how to use cover? They can't hear the Drifter say that they are being invaded. Maybe Buff the Drifters lines like Shaxx saying "seventh column."
If you go through with this please don't let it affect pve. So tired people getting killed by a weapon or super and having it affect the pve environment.
Edit: keep the post going let Bungie know we are the majority.
2nd edit: So they are going to nerf the aim assist. Still don’t agree with it. Still it affects pve, but I guess it is better than a full on nerf. Crying kids get there way once again. Probably won’t be last attack on sleeper.

It still works will in gambit, but the aim assist is GREATLY reduced, feel like no AS at all.

2 RespuestasI kind of agree, I've only been killed by sleeper a handful of times in gambit. Plus if a team is wasting it on you, that's less damage output on their Prime Evil, it's a give and take. I think if they want to balance it they should just make it so exotics are not buffed by armor abilities, cause I can imagine where there might be frustration is if you play against an enemy who has a No Flinch Linear Fusion rifle node on their armor. At least with flinching you stand a chance against it face to face.

I've been VEHEMENTLY against the weapon being nerfed....but I think this is the perfect move. 1. It won't affect PVE because you're going to be using it against slow moving, high-value targets. 2. It wont' rescues stupid players in Gambit who stand still out in the open....or run at you in straight lines. 3. It will reward skilled fusion rifle users in Gambit when it comes to hitting moving targets. People with good target tracking skills and timing will be unaffected. People who try to precharge and then snap aim or hip-fire will find themselves struggling. A reduction in AA won't save 80% of the fools I'm currently killing with it. I'm willing to make the other 20% a little more of a test, if it will stop the whining and prevent Bungie from breaking the weapon in more fundamental ways to pacify the Crucibabies.

Sorry op,but you should know anything that gets nerf in pvp also affects pve players. You can always count on the pvp crowd to always screw over the pve crowd. Well back to my Godzilla marathon <3

Last night, a player with aimbot enabled invaded. Within 2 seconds, 2 of my team were dead. Then I realized that he didn't have aimbot and that Sleeper Simulant just fires bus sized projectiles. [spoiler]Pls don't nerf Sleeper, just disable heavy for like 10 seconds while invading or something[/spoiler]

You have a lot of PVE players playing Gambit who have very poor skills where it comes to PVP. You have people who have been literally arguing me down about how they shouldn't have to take cover, and how they shouldn't have to stop shooting BOTS to deal with an invader. Its like they think they can just ignore the PvP part of this game until the Invader literally just wanders into their line of sight. Its breathtaking, the cluelessness. As a D1 vet, you'll understand this. You and I both know that weapons would kill ANYTHING in D1 if you got a direct hit....and they were a hell of a lot easier to use than ways people are using Sleeper in Gambit. But you have these arrogant guys who think that they should be able to hang up in the air like the Hindenburg, and I shouldn't be able to burn them down for having lost situational awareness. Or that I should be **helpless** just because they popped their super unless I have one of my own.
