Yeah I gotta agree here. If you don’t play with the Sleeper you’re at a huge disadvantage. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not guaranteed you’ll lose encounters but it’s pretty lopsided.

I disagree I’ve used rockets and snipers that are wayyy better than sleeper. Try bad omens or supremacy

Editado por Boomstick1911: 9/18/2018 1:29:00 AMWhat I find more lopsided is when the nerf herders say jump, Bungie says how high. Don't give me the, "All they have to do is nerf this" argument either, because that is the exact cycle that led to Destiny 1 being nerfed into oblivion, and Destiny 2 starting out completely upside down. I watched people cry for every single weapon class, ability and Super to get nerfed in these forums and have no desire to repeat the same downfall in Destiny 2. If people have to constantly cry nerf no matter how hard, or often things are modified in the game, then the game is not the issue.
-
Thats because bungie don't understand balance and always bring out insanely overpowered weapons. Their testers must be fanboys or something, because they say they have tested the game pre release and then you go do crucible and everyone has the same gun. Mida, graviton, sleeper, prometheus lens.. the list goes on.
-
It's not that Bungie doesn't understand balance. It's the minority of self-absorbed, vocally obnoxious brats that think Destiny = Halo. D2 started out with "Balance", and not only was it boring AF, but you brats STILL complained. MIDA, Pulse Grenades... You're never satisfied. If it kills your sorry behind, it's OP and needs to be nerfed. It's not the game, it's YOU.
-
Bring on the salt. Some guns are better for pve or pvp then others which is normal. But having guns that are so dominant that it changes the gameplay drastically is not a balanced system. You cant have 1 gun that is a golden gun and every other gun a normal gun. Otherwise no one will use the other guns, everyone will use the golden gun. 1 shot to the head is understandable, but 1 to the body from any range is fcked.
-
Yes, and when something else takes over, you'll cry about that too. The salt isn't coming from anyone but the nerf-herders, and you all need to shut the Hell up, or leave.
-
Its only "lopsided" if you stand out in the open or move in straight lines. If you do that, then sniper rifles and rockets will just step in to make you're life miserable even if Bungie (unlikely) nerfs it. Which is why this whole business of "nerf every weapon that frustrates me" just leads to broken games. Especially in THIS game when PVE has to share the same sandbox.
-
Yeah sure but this gun is not only good at wrecking guardians from any range, it is also insanely good against the bosses. You go to destiny tracker and inspect the leaderboards. Every cnt has ikelos sg. Sleeper and some other homeax gun. Why? Because they are good? No. Because they exploit the best weapons to wreck the leaderboards. Hence "meta".
-
No you don’t get to do that. Overused ==/== Overpowered. Destiny game modes have metas because Bungie is in the very bad habit of designing maps that look different, but all play the same. Give us Gambit maps that are smaller with shorter sightlines? Sleepers long chargeup Time becomes a big disadvantage. Buff other heavy weapons in terms of burst damage against bosses (rockets and grenade launchers) THEN you’ll see people choose other heavy weapons.

All bungie has to do is make that weapon unequippable for gambit. That's it
-
All bungie has to do is make that weapon unequippable for gambit. That's it
Agreed.

Editado por OMWG: 9/18/2018 6:45:59 AM
All bungie has to do is make that weapon unequippable for gambit. That's it
Why? Btw. they can't block one special weapon for an event. All they can do is nerving a weapon. But this will end up like allways, this weapon becones less powerfull in pvp and useless in pve. I give a shit about pvp and like powerfull weapons in pve.

They could lock the weapon from an activity. It's just about the effort they'd want to put into that. They did with an emote that allowed you to glitch through walls. So it is possible for them to do.

-
Yeah so it's possible to do
-
So whats your solution? Nerf it?

Editado por FdYAcsoyPKN83gLE: 9/17/2018 3:03:09 AMOf course, nerfing the sleeper is the answer! BOOOOOOOOOO! Just saying.
-
What's the point of playing it if your going to make another op weapon like graviton lance that's why your game was dead and will be in a month.
-
It was dead on launch! We didn't have any "crutch" OP weapons then. So what's your excuse?
-
Editado por FdYAcsoyPKN83gLE: 9/17/2018 3:02:05 AMGraviton was an ugly weapon that was everywhere. Sorry, but no one would miss it soon.
