You literally get it from the simplest raid encounter ever, grow up.

Crota isn’t in this game.

You mean from an activity, that took almost 20 hours to beat? The only thing that will save Bungie now, will be if the streaming community goes out of their way to help randoms do at least that first boss fight. 95% of my lfg raid attempts have been frustrating disasters. And I feel this will drive more people away, making lfg even harder.
-
It's only rough right now.. Worst case ya wait a few weeks till most people are of adequate level then do it.
-
True. I posted a bunch of comments before my morning coffee. I'm just worried that this may really hurt the game as a whole. A lot of people they may have won back, will be upset and drop the game quick.
-
The first encounter isn't what groups were stuck on for 10 plus hours though, so your argument isn't valid.
-
So if you are forming a raid group, and 50% of your 6 man group, leaves after the first boss. You are going to be ok with that?
-
Right...this will also skew the numbers bungie sees from people joining and not completing a raid.
-
Yup. Just find new people and adapt your strategy
-
What is the lowest light level one should be before trying this "simple" encounter?
-
You can beat it with a group of 530s if you all play smart and well.
-
It’s a shit move. Stop defending it.
-
No it’s really not, the encounter is simple and it’s a guaranteed drop; nothing shit about that
-
How long did it take you to beat????
-
How long did it take your team?
-
If its so simple, why even bother putting it there? Its just going to make lfg raid groups more toxic with people just bailing after first encounter.
-
Simple or not, it’s total bullshit....but I guess the least toxic way to do it is with LFGs dedicated to “first encounter” in description. In a way it’s an “LFG Challenge” to the player base. From that point there will most likely be a few “First encounter” groups that decide to see how much further they can push on. I can definitely see Bungie’s line of thinking here. This LFG requirement should end up compounding a massive number of extra gameplay as randoms teams flail away for hours before abruptly disbanding in total frustration. I would imagine that a few might even complete a raid that they otherwise would not have completed without the LFG requirement. Not really a bad idea in general. People that don’t like raiding will soon be able to google up the specifics of the first encounter and then LFG it like the Whisper quest. I don’t like the Raid requirement either, but I honestly don’t think this will be that problematic. Really just an unnecessary pain in the ass imo.

So true because we see how shitty gambit can be because bounties and ace of spades quest
-
What was so bad about the ace of spades quest?
-
Regardless, they shouldn't lock something like this behind an activity that most don't play just like they shouldn't lock certain requirements behind Crucible for people who dont play pvp. Especially a god damn super.........
-
So? Plenty of other supers to go around. Gave you an option to pick and chose and know it's up to you to do the end game activities to get what you want. Bungie shouldn't appeal to anyone side of the fanbase, just those who want to play what they offer.
-
I normally don't respond like this but what you just wrote was the stupidest shit ever.........and i shouldn't have to explain why. Just reread your shit........
-
The thing is, I am part of that fanbase. I've defended Bungie, the entire time, up until now. I've always accepted not getting certain gear or guns, if I couldn't find time or a group to raid. But at least I could try all the different subclasses, without having to delete a guardian. Just seems a step too far.

Editado por Combo164: 9/15/2018 1:34:43 PMHow is this appealing to oneside of the player base? This is a change that wasn't needed since for the 4 years destiny has been out bungie has done a decent job keeping raiders and non raiders happy. Raids have never been needed when it comes to leveling or unlocking class abilities and doing so now is just a poor decision that didnt even need to be made. If their reasoning is to give incentive to do the raid, how about just making extremely good raid loot like in D1? With the new armor perks and weapon perks that should've been enough.

It’s still a stupid design choice.
