With all the modular weapons crap being so much better than everything else they might as well just take out normal weapons. What’s the point in having a super tight galatine prime build when a great sword zaw with half the mods is better?

Unless there is a dual secondary status shotty that can get over 10000 on one damage type, im staying with my Akbronco Primes.

Even if they aren't high enough MR for a weapon, MR lock isn't an issue for wallet warriors who buy bundles or in the case of prime shit, Prime Access, since it bypasses the lock.

Then just make the parts easier to obtain. But a lot of zaws are actually not hard to grind for. You just have to go to the plains a lot, which is boring

Never said it was hard per se, I'm saying that a player who doesn't take the time to max their daily standing and increase reputation levels - aka a casual player - isn't going to have access to the higher tier zaw parts. Even once they get access to them, they still have a shit ton of resource farming to do. There's no debate that zaws outclass pretty much every weapon in their respective categories, but Prime gear is still easier for a casual player to obtain, hence why Galantine remains the most popular. Less effort.

Makes sense. I think should be made less powerful though as to not completely overshadow every other weapon

Don't worry, Warframe and "power creep" are pretty much synonymous at this point. If the stats on the Gram Prime in the leak end up being true, it will easily dethrone Galatine Prime.

Buuut not the atterax. Or any zaws. And watch the modular secondaries just erase the akstilleto prime. Every time something powerful gets added or buffed something else that gets added or buffed becomes obsolete. That’s one of the reasons why I stopped playing warframe

And in the leak, Gram has 32% CC & SC and 2.8 crit multiplayer. That's pretty much what the top zaws do, so yeah, it is comparable. Except that’s wrong. It doesn’t even have the highest base damage of non-zaw melee weapons. The arca titron does. A zaw greatsword can have better stats than the galatine prime. And therefore it doesn’t need as tight of a build
