Pretty sure they said long ago that if you want big time gear, gotta do big time content. Expect the raid and nightfall to be the only major boosts past 520. Doing 1 strike isn't gonna help boost to Max power anymore.

I'm 525 and I've obviously never done the raid...I have not done the nightfall either

Same, though i did my first NF at 530 the other night.

It is entirely possible to hit 600 by doing the weekly and daily challenges but it is going to take a very long time due to the tiered progression. I think it makes sense, rewards are better for end game activities - good direction this DLC
