My friends came back to D2 I’m so happy! We all stopped D2, they went to fortnite but I don’t like that game so we all stopped playing together. Today tho, the last of the pack decided to come back thanks to the update! You did a really good job fixing the absolute mess you released. I really had no faith in you to be honest. But you surprised me. The speed increase, crazy strong exotics, weapon slots and the ttk being much quicker if you get headshots but much less on body shots. Helps teamshotting and you can actually get multi kills now without someones hand in your back pocket! The ability recharge is pretty good and the mod system is finally how it should have been from the start! I have ripped Bungie left and right on these forums. I called out everything that was wrong but I have always been fair. When you did something right, those few times, i would admit i was wrong. This is a huge step but I’m telling you right now, if you start nerfing everything because of a select group of people like you did in D1 you will lose so hard. Be smarter this time cuz if that hammer comes swinging hard enough to destroy a weapon or armor then I’m gone and I know theres a good amount of people who will come with me. We don’t need that crap again. Obviously some things may need a slight nerf here and there but nothing crazy enough to make it obsolete. You go too extreme every time you nerf something. Just cuz people cry doesn’t mean you should give in. Please just let us have fun I now get excited to go home and play. Never thought I’d say that about D2. TL;DR Thats fine it’s not for you. Most people on the forums won’t want to read a long ass post that isn’t negative. This is for the slight chance someone who did work on the game actually sees it. They do deserve a little recognition for the amount of work they did come on. Yes this is the game we should have had at launch. Yes they did some scummy stuff and lost a lot of our trust. And yes, having to pay another $40 or $80 is totally -blam!-ed up since the game is just now getting good. But they are putting in the effort now at least you gotta give them that.
