Sleeper simulant ruins the balance of gambit... HORRIBLY.
Not sure how it made it through playtesting, it's that broken lol....
"Hello overshielded, supering invader over yonder across the map, meet my sleeper simulant body shot, goodbye! Now back to using it as a top tier PvE weapon too!"
It's top tier for DPS, and clearing blockers... but also so powerful from a PvP aspect that in normal crucible it gets less ammo than basically any other weapon... but in gambit its rolling in purple.

No it doesn’t, weapon performs as it should. You pvp pussies had your shot with vanilla D2 and we all saw how that worked out. No more nerfs!!!! Stop ruining pve bc you die in pvp and can’t handle it. Pvp pussies are the only problem with the game.

You dumbass lol i opposed literally everything about vanilla D2. I was arguably the first person to call it out as trash when i saw the first gameplay reveal a few months before the beta back when every youtuber and pvp -blam!- was slobbing bungies knob over it. I was calling for buffs, and pointing out every flaw. I have always advocated for changes that benefit the way the game plays. I havent called for a single nerf in YEARS, and now i see an obvious imbalance in ONE game mode and am asking for a solution that DOESN'T involve blanket nerfing a good weapon...... can you pull your head out of your ass for 3 seconds and realize im not a member of the nerf brigade and that im proposing something thats better for the health of the game? Im sure you will change your mind when in a month, every serious team is running 4 catalyst sleepers with linear fusion targetting, unflinching linear fusion aim and power ammo scavenger armor...

No, I won’t change my mind, pvp and pve in destiny do not mix, I play with friends solely pve and am tired af of pvp ruining the fun in pve. Sleeper was designed as a power weapon for a reason and works as intended. Bungie finally figured out that destiny is not going to make it into eSports, primarily bc they refuse to separate pvp from pve, so it’s back to the way destiny was intended to be more or less. If you don’t like gambit don’t play, it’s pretty easy.

Yes, sleeper breaks balance. Ironically, those defending the weapon are also using it, & May encourage others to use it as well. News flash morons: When using any other weapon than a specific one puts you at a disadvantage, then something is wrong.

It’s an easy quest, go get one instead of ruining it for the rest of us. No more nerfs!!!! You pvp pussies already ruined D2 once, remember how unplayable and unenjoyable the game was at launch?? That was to keep u pvp pussies happy, where did it take the game?? you dumbass.... i was opposing the changes to D2 like 8 months before launch when the first gameplay reveal vid came out. (i made the first breakdown of it) Dont lump me in with the morons who ruined the game because i said every idea that they had was bad from the beginning. Im asking for a change that will make gambit better as a whole, without affecting sleeper in any other activity...

Sounds like I have some common sense and understand that severe imbalances will ruin a new game mode faster than you can say "alright alright alright" I'm not blaming people for using it, I'm not calling them scrubs or saying it takes no skill. I'm simply pointing out that there is ONE weapon that is the optimal choice for EVERY role in gambit. That is not a good thing.

Not good, everyone quit playing bc of the entire game being neutered for pvp pussies. Now that weapons and supers grenades are starting to perform like they should u pvp pussies are crying again. I do understand what a meta is. There will always be a meta, but for it to be fun, it cant completely overshadow everything else by an absurd margin. Like Prometheus lens crucible week. You literally had to use Prometheus to compete. The "fun" wore off after a few games. Maybe a few days for some people. If that lasted a few weeks, most of the playerbase would have quit PvP. That's the type of situation we are looking at with sleeper and gambit

Not necessarily. Graviton Forfeit and Vigilance Wing were the op meta for a long time. From what I can tell, not many people quit. Instead they adapted and followed the meta, and that will most likely happen with gambit as well. As for me, I’m waiting until Forsaken drops so I can continue working my way towards Sleeper. It’s a powerful gun, and if that’s what everyone’s using, then fight fire with fire.

Because graviton lance and vigilance didnt massively outclass every other weapon like sleeper does. I could go against gravitons and vigilance wings all day without feeling like they are uncounterable or that there is no other option On the other hand, sleeper IS basically uncounterable and will reach a point where there is no other option

I beg to differ. For example, if you are a crack shot with a sniper, then you could kill the person before they even get a shot off. It’s really not that hard, and my accuracy is that of a potato.

You say that, but in reality, if you are invading you have a massive advantage of knowing where your enemy is, So its the ultimate tool for invading, and its up there for dps and dealing with blockers, and it is a perfect counter to invading supers.... There is basically nothing in gambit that it isnt nearly or actually "the best" at
