Because Warlocks don't already have enough damage with their supers. But whats this? *Gasp* Suddenly you have a super that makes you useful as more then just damage? Such a pitty, certainly Warlocks can't do enough with a flaming sword, remote control supernovae, force lightning, teleporting jihad and a literal Kamehameha. Its such a tragedy that you have to have one super thats utility based. How ever will you poor Warlocks ever survive such a crisis.

  • Although I agree with you, I just need to step in about the “remote control” nova bomb. IT IS NOT REMOTE CONTROL! If it hits anything, it explodes instantly. You can run around a corner and daodge it. Oh how I wish it we’re remote control.

  • Well you assume wrongly kiddo. I'm a Titan so kindly continue on with your kit that ammounts to a crutch for lack of skill and finesse.

  • I took some time to post because I had hoped that you weren't serious and didn't actually believe what you have written. The fact that you haven't appended it in any way shows me that you actually believe the things you're saying so allow me to take a moment to educate you. First off, Sub Classes. Titans suffer from probably the least exciting and least effective kit for PvP out of all 3 classes. Now you may be thinking to yourself, "Oh he's just saying that cause he plays Titan". To which I would tell you that you're wrong. Sure as a Titan player I'll bitch and complain all day about how underpowered hammers are when compared to other subclasses but this goes beyond complaining about something because I like it. With as much objectivity as possible I can conclusively say that you're wrong in your assesment and I'm willing to provide some facts to go along with it. 1. The Hammer Dilemma In past Hammers have ranged from kinda okay to god awful due to poor balancing decisions on Bungo's behalf and that was fine. In D1 Fist of Panic was much more effective and had better perks anyways. In D2 however it seemed that the tables were turned and some of the power budget alloted to Fist had suddenly been shifted to Hammers and for a time it was good. Fast forward to now however and Hammers are almost in the same spot as they were mid Y2. At this point in time Hammers is one of the easiest supers to counter, has the most counters, and the least ammount of versatility. At time of writing its easy to shut down Hammers with a single cast of Nova Bomb providing hyper armor to the caster during the animation. I have personally thrown two hammers at a Warlock casting Nova and barely touched their health regardless of them taking a face full of flaming hammer. Storm callers are kind of a neutral fight as it can go either way depending on who got the jump on who and who the better player is. Theres almost no competition against Dawn Blade as its more maneuverable and attacks much faster then Hammers allowing the Blade user to win most super duels with ease. Hunters are a much different and all together more annoying problem however. Versus a Gunslinger you most often will not win that fight unless you can get the drop on them and even then it sometimes won't go in your favor simply due to how much damage GG does and how quickly and accurately it can be spammed. Meme Strider is a problem in and of itself due to their latent attack speed being faster then yours allowing them to 1v1 almost any super and win with simple speed. Tether is a problem for obvious reasons so I won't bother going into that one as this is already longer then I had intended. And finally we have Titans. 1v1's against Titan supers are pretty neutral with no clear advantage on either side and most times will end in a straight up one for one trade between two Titans. 2. Come on and slam...... Fist of panic has always been a good engage/counter engage super, it was good for taking down other supers and clearing objectives ahead of your team mates. The changes made to it in D2 have largely been for balance reasons instead of any sort of creative fullfillment so I'll keep this brief. The multi slams and empowered shoulder charge (while nice on the surface) are too easily kited and team shot into oblivion. Thats not to say that surprise slams aren't still effective, but the animation for the initial slam feels more sluggish then it did in the past and with the reduced range on the slam its harder to get off those clutch slams without facing immediate reppercussions from any nearby enemies. 3. Captain America rides again Sentinel is an odd subclass for both PvE and PvP. It doesn't provide enough damage to be a good source of DPS in PvE or enough utility like its big brother Ward of Dawn in D1 to be a good defensive option. It exists in this weird grey area were it could be "Omg broken" Or "Dog shit terrible" at the flip of a coin. In PvP its not a terrible choice of super but with the nerf to stickies and its lack of true offensive capabilities outside of its super, its neutral game leaves something to be desired. As a super Sentinel functions much the same as D1 Arc Blade did in that it allows for high mobility and quick kills that reward a skilled hand. However it suffers (while not as heavily) from the same problem as other Titan supers in that its way too easily kited and team shot into the void. 4. The Life Exotic Titans in D2 have a distinct lack of Exotics that are truly indispensible. As you mentioned Lion Ramparts are an okay neutral Exotic but in the crucible one is not likely going to see a huge benefit from increased mid air maneuverability outside of very niche circumstances. Feedback Fences are a decent exotic if you find yourself trading a lot of melee hits but in order to make full use of them, they require a very particular and very aggressive playstyle that requires soaking up a lot of melees before responding with your own. It has the potential to be super useful but again only in niche circumstances. Dune Marchers are much the same as they require you to be constantly sprinting, and while the increased sprint speed is nice, the empowered melee is rarely ever worth it. In my personal opinion the only truely beneficial neutral exotic for Titans would be either the Armamentarium or the Crest of Alpha Lupi. In conclusion, as much as you and many others in this community would like to believe, Titans simply aren't in as good of a spot as you'd like to think they are. Are they strong in certain circumstances? Yes, sometimes, but as previously mentioned those are niche curcumstances and their usability across the board is rather minimal when compared to the other classes. Tl;Dr You're wrong and here's why. Thank you for your time and as always. Have a good day.
