I feel like Destiny is, for the most part, a fairly balanced game PvP-wise. Until you throw in exotics and super abilities that make deaths feel cheap. Why does a hunter's gunslinger get no protection and have to be spot on while a titan's hammers can hit anywhere in the general vicinity of an enemy and be a one shot kill? Why does the graviton lance, a pulse rifle, out shoot every scout rifle on range? Why does tractor cannon do so much damage, blast people off maps, AND suppress super abilities?
Not saying these things should be completely removed from PvP. It's nowhere near impossible to counter or play around these things, or simply 'git gud'. PvP is still fun now, and this is by no means a rage/ saltpost. I would be interested, however, to see what D2 would play like if there was just one gametype where it was just flatout PvP. It could even be a new gametype, doesn't have to be comp or trials, but I would definitely be interested to see how it would play out and how popular it would become in the community. Because, the way I see it, the only thing keeping Destiny from having a real professional competitive scene is the fact that the PvP is pretty cheesy compared to other games out at the moment with all the forced metas, and I can't imagine it would attract a lot of spectators outside of people who already play a lot of D2 PvP.
With all the people complaining about Wormhusk and Synthoceps etc., it would be interesting to see a gametype where there would be no excuse, real or imagined, for dying other than that enemy player just straight up outgunned/ outplayed you.
Thoughts? Please, no knee-jerk reactions and "witty" one liners about what destiny should and shouldn't be. Looking for some form of discussion here.

If you want to make the claim that changing or adding a single gametype to Crucible would completely change/ruin everything about Destiny, please elaborate or explain exactly how? Because that makes no sense and I don't see how it would happen, unless everyone stopped playing the gametypes with supers/ exotics afterwards because it turned out that's what everyone wanted after all.

for comp sure, trials wouldn't really work

Editado por Rai: 8/3/2018 7:06:59 PMIf you don't want to play the gametype with no supers and no exotics, you literally would not have to. It would just be like any other option in crucible; you take it or you leave it. Seriously, can someone capable of typing out more than a sentence and doing some critical thinking please explain to me how adding such a game type would actually cause harm to the game?

8 RespuestasPlay Halo or COD. Destiny should always be about the space magic. Always.

Keep exotics and supers, but give me pleeeeeeeeease a mode without power weapons. I'm so tired of getting a rocket to the face seconds after the match has started...

Sounds like NO FUN
