Good god, at 46, my reaction time and general sense of WTF is going on is not strong enough for 6v6. How about a 40+ league that’s 4v4????? 😎

I’m 46 and love 6s 30-36 kills most matches ... I found you can just run and gun. Slow down and flank. Works for me. Hope it does for you

It may not be your reaction time. At the same time when Bungie released the 6v6 QP they also introduced a bug where both Skill Based Matchmaking (SBMM) and Connection Based Matchmaking (CBMM) have been disabled. Instead of fixing this problem the sandbox team has decided to wait since many of the top players (and I think some streamers) have asked Bungie to not fix it since they are finding it fun to stomp on lesser skilled player and have games with lopsided scores (I think it increases viewership for the streamers). Bungie’s official position is that they are going to wait and take feedback from the community if they should restore SBMM and CBMM to QP. So it is not your eyes that are deceiving you, you may actually be getting shot through walls and the shots at people directly in front of you (according to your screen) may be missing them since they are not actually there due to poor internet connections made for the game. Also you may be in match with someone who could outshoot 90% of everyone in the game since they are no longer matching teams of roughly similar skills. So there is a very good chance that you could do okay in 6v6, it’s just hard to tell right now. By the way, Bungie has said that they are looking for player feedback on this issue. They want hear what you think about the lack of SBMM and CBMM, so go ahead; Bungie is listening…

6v6 is just bad in its current state. Spawning into the super that just killed you is the worst thing ever.

You should try it at my age, 71! I want an over 70 option :-)

1 RespuestaSometimes when supers and grenades are going off in a big battle the screen just becomes a mosh of color and I can’t see where anyone is or what’s going on. I die a lot of times as I can’t see and I blindly spray bullets hoping to hit something. If anybody on Xbox wants to join up with another old guy for some crucible fun message me, I am always solo, it would be fun to have a teammate once in a while.

3 RespuestasOh and one more tip I forgot that works for me: Get super jacked on loads of coffee and play early in the day, hahaha XD

7 RespuestasEditado por Blimgauss: 8/3/2018 12:06:33 AMI don't mean to be rude, but I'm 39 and I'm doing OK. Not great, but I'm doing alright, and have improved since I started playing D2 — which is the first shooter I've played since Goldeneye on N64, about 20 years ago. Do you play consistently? Practice needs to be consistent. Try to play everyday, even if it's just a few games. Do you run with a team? This helps. Do you run meta? If you're running underpowered gear and are getting owned, try using the meta. Do you record your worst games and watch them back? This has been immensely helpful to me. It helped me see that a lot of my deaths aren't from lack of gunskill or reaction time, but from doing really dumb shit. Finally, do you take care of yourself? Exercise regularly, eat well, get plenty of sleep? I'm not kidding. Taking care of yourself boosts cognition and mental acuity, which will help in any game. These are all tips that helped me. Good luck man!

I'm 48. I am too young to be in any old peoples league. 6 x 6 is way more fun than 4 x 4.

1 RespuestaI'm 24 and can't stand it on certain maps.

2 Respuestas54 here and i can say my reaction time is a bit slow . But then again i just put on some 5fdp and go for broke (laugh alot also)

3 RespuestasForget 4v4... leave that in comp. Bring back some variety and add 3v3.

Damn for a second I thought you were making fun of people who play 6v6🤔 Calling us 9 year olds lol. At 17, I'm very very comfortable in 6v6. I normally drop around 40 kills per game and enjoy myself. Please note, however, that I've spent around 500 hours in the crucible, so I'm very accustomed to the environment. Have a great day!

Just don’t try very hard like me.
