Just venting a bit. I've enjoyed D2 for the most part in year 1, but honestly I don't like the changes and vision of bungie so I don't think there will be a year 2 for me.
That's it. Continue on with your daily lives.

3 RespuestasAnd you must not have played destiny 1 or else you would've hated d2. Me on the other hand a d1 day 1 player I am looking forward to forsaken

Editado por U12070628: 7/31/2018 10:55:51 PMD2 Y1 was rough, and probably the worst year destiny ever experienced. I’m looking forward to forsaken though. Year 2 is looking good so far...

I'm really curious to what you know about the future of Bungie and their vision? I think Forsaken looks really good and interesting, I can't wait for it. So to me, I like the changes and their vision for the foreseeable future but what don't you like about it?

The Armond White of the destiny universe

2 RespuestasI'd be happy if they made the exotics ONLY available as a cash purchase. That way we'd get rid of all of the poor and uneducated people on here. That might come across as harsh but how many times have you seen there, their and they're being used incorrectly? Point proved. Carry on with your lives.

2 RespuestasI did like d2 on launch and let's be clear, year 1 of D1 was hot garbage. You talk to nearly anyone who liked D1 and they will not argue that it didn't improve. But d2 had its chance to get better. Osiris was a disaster from a content point of view. Warmind was good for the 3 seconds of content it gave, then it was grind grind grind. Right now, Destiny 2 is a casino game, not a shooter, not a world where the story matters. Your tasks are hot potato, hoop jump, and find the only useful 10 weapons in the game out of the 100 provided. Grind Grind Grind, for nothing meaningful. All Forsaken is right now = hyped video. Hyped cutscenes. Hyped Cayde. There's some fun exotics that should have been in the game last year. But you pay dearly for those if the content is as little as it has been. And, frankly, there's nothing about Forsaken that you can look to for proof of more content for your money. More of the same, probably. You'll play the same dull thing over, and over, and over again, for a waste of your time.

It was a fun 3 weeks in the fall and I'll never buy another Bungie game until they stop shitting on their own community and gaming in general.
-
This has been the worst year of Destiny, by far. I hope the game can get back on track and stop monetizing everything. Its hard watching something you love turn into a piece of s h it.

1 RespuestaEditado por mxgreg: 7/31/2018 8:12:06 PMI'm keeping an open mind, but most likely will be playing other games at least for a while. Stuff like the strike catalyst having a less than1% drop rate, EP not dropping weapons for some people, strike specific loot only being in NF's with no matchmaking and having less than 1% drop rate, etc. While I don't want handouts I don't find it fun running the same content 100's of times with no changes or variation. I want a fun grind and a decent balance of activities and a faster-paced game. By balance I mean having things to do in groups and having things to do solo. With so much emphasis being put on headshots in PVP and endgame content it's just not fun if you don't have the best vision. If we could customize the aiming reticle/scope cross hairs to a color that made it more visible that would be a big improvement. The man issue I have with D2 is the pace feels so slow most of the time. PVP and PVE. Most thing still need a bit of polishing up.

Yeah, they better have got it sorted, they’ve had plenty of feedback etc etc so with the nxt dlc it should b spot on 😜

3 RespuestasOP Loves the worst year of Destiny since it’s inception. Bungie announce massively better QoL changes! OP gets his heart broken then throws Tantrum and writes Bungie a Dear John letter... See you in Forsaken!!!!
-
D2 y1 was boring, i think, i pray y2 will be better.
-
Editado por Walshy: 7/31/2018 5:09:40 PMI’m kinda exhausted with Destiny rn because during CoO I did everything possible to make my own endgame ,I haven’t even finished Warmind completely yet because I’m just burned out right now Don’t get me wrong ,I love this game series to pieces and I have Forsaken Preordered n all that ,But I’m probably gonna get through solstice as fast as possible just so I can shut of D2 until forsaken and get back into the grind for Y2 nice and refreshed 😃 I’m excited ,especially after seeing that new Legendary Edition trailer

3 RespuestasDid you play D1 during the content drought?
-
1 Respuesta
Been a fun year, doubt there will be a year 2
You need more material; you'll be back September 4th.....
-
1 RespuestaI’m actually kinda the opposite. Year one was pretty boring up until warmind got released and exotics got buffed. There was hardly anything to do up until warmind dropped. I’m very excited to grind the dreaming city and all the new content when forsaken drops.
-
8 RespuestasI think you’re in the minority. Most players like that it’s going to more of a D1 feel.
-
11 RespuestasGood. Begone and stay gone.
-
9 RespuestasYear 2 actually looks great, or atleast the start of it does.
-
36 RespuestasI thought it was the other way around. There seem to be a lot of improvements coming with forsaken.
-
Lol you are the opposite of me I think year one was shit and I’m praying year two will be as good as it looks.
-
Ugh. I can't imagine a worse Desiny sequel than what we got.
-
1 RespuestaDude year two is where Bungie brings the game back to 50% of when we loved Destiny. Year 3 is where they'll shine. Once they release Destiny 3, we will have to start that cycle all over again. Except Bungie wouldn't have the incentive to push a lot of amazing content out because there won't be a destiny 4 and they'll probably move onto another project.
-
1 RespuestaThis is just the beginning.

2 RespuestasSplain yourself lucy. What about forsaken don't you like? To me the last year plus has been garbage. Forsaken actually has my hopes up for this game's future.
