Raid locations should be more playable for solo players!
As a family, my ability to spend time playing Destiny can be very limited sometimes. I would love to be able to play (and explore) the raid lairs and get raid gear, but the thing that really sucks about the raids is that they are set up so that you basically have to be part of a fireteam if you hope to have any sort of chance to complete the raids! Forsaken should change the leviathan raids so solo players can beat them, or at least modify them so that solo players can explore the Leviathan. And the Dreaming City should be able to be completed or at least modified for solo players that don’t have the chance or time commitments to be part of a fireteam!! That way a solo player could at the very least be able to explore the dreaming city.

Let me be clear, I understand that Raids are more of a team endgame thing. What I really wish to do is to explore more of the Leviathan. but due to the raid mechanics requiring teams this is nearly impossible. I have read many of your comments and I understand your point that if I really wanted to complete the raid I should get help from other players. My struggle isn't that I can't find people to play it with, it's my own ability to find and make the time to complete it. And I thank those that have offered to have me add them as a friend and would help me complete the raid.
Some of people who responded to my post have had nothing but extremely rude things to say. If you disagree with my opinion I can respect that. But as a fair warning, I loose all respect for those who feel that they have the right to insult me, my life choices, and my intellegence, etc. simply because you disagree with me. So If you chose to insult me, the only basis being you disagree with me, I will report your post, and then block you.
Again, thank you to those that have given me tips on how I can complete the raid!

1 RespuestaAs a solo player with 5 kids in my house and multiple jobs, I say no. We need to accept not all content is for solo players. Fortunately I have an active clan that I Raid with if needed. I feel more solo activities should become present in the game but Raids, no sir.

4 RespuestasSo i get what you are saying i am a family man also. But here is the thing i used the reddit destiny sherpa and found a group of guys and we did the raid on a sunday afternoon. I was like you barely did any raids, i got tired of that found a group to do it with.

3 RespuestasSorry, but as you can probably tell by now, you’re the vast minority. Is Trials an absolute mess? Yeah. Do people who run it and succeed deserve the rewards even if I’m not capable enough to participate? Hell yeah. Here’s the reality of it all, and I really do suggest you take it into consideration. You’ll only ever get those end game activities done if you constantly put enough drive into doing them. Don’t have enough time? Bullshit. Make plans, compromises and set a date. Don’t have anyone to run it with? Get in touch with people who do runs regularly and plan out that date with them. There are folks willing to help freely if you take the time to find them.

Curious about something... Not only are you in an active clan, but you are also the founder of said clan, so why aren't you setting up sessions with your clan to run the raid? I'm mostly a solo player that also has real life obligations (both family and work related) and requests such as this always has me shaking my head. While it's true that there is no easy way in-game to do a LFG for the raid (sorry but guided games is a joke), but there are plenty of other tools available to form or join a group. Whether it's the Find Firetean function here on B.Net and in the app, or the /r/Fireteams and r/DestinySherpa/ over on reddit, to The100.io and other dedicated LFG sites. If you are serious about wanting to raid, then there are options and more importantly - there are other players in similar situations looking to do the raid themselves or those that are willing to guide players through. You just need to put in a little effort upfront.

If you can play it solo it isn’t really a raid is it? Look at what happened to crotas end. You could solo that only because of the fact that the strike was infested with cheese. You could solo CE in 7 minutes. That is NOT a proper raid.

No.. the point of the raid is for it to be end game, and is meant to play with six people. I am primarily a solo player, and even I understand that raids are not made or intended to be done by solo players. Watering things down does not make the game better, and asking for an END GAME activity to be watered down for solos is a terrible idea.

as if you are the only person who has things to do besides play a game. if you truly wanted to raid you would, excuses are only excuses. the game should not be changed, dumbed down, or turned into a campaign mission. it's a raid for a reason.

Or they could rework night falls to have better rewards like they did in destiny 1. That way you only need to get 3 people together.

I'm a family man,beat everything,and no they should not be made for solo players. Plenty of solo things to do. I want stuff that takes a team effort and not some watered down crap so solo players can get a participation trophy.
